Profiles!

Carmen!

Hedonistic. A natural seeker and generally an optimist, Carmen can be extremely single-minded. She's also known to be easily disenchanted. Emotionally, she attaches herself to certain trustworthy individuals, but pertains to the habit of selectively granting information.

(Understandably, the story of Carmen Sandiego has been interpreted in many ways. For the sake of story-telling, this site has modified her background within reason.) Carmen does not speak of her early childhood because, frankly, she knows little. Details of one or more orphanages are also vague and it is believed she was never given an official Birth Certificate. Her acceptance into ACME Academy at the age of 13 was based on a decision by a high-ranking ACME recruiter. Files on that have since disappeared. Although labeled as ringleader of V.I.L.E., Carmen sees herself as a facilitator and a necessary advantage for the organisation. There are many unproven theories surrounding her motives. Some claim that she supports multiple charities, with a focus on remote orphanages, while others believe she lives lavishly outside of V.I.L.E. One thing all can agree on is her uncompanionable ability to stay distant, using an arsenal of secret identities and sequestered networks of acquaintances.

Chief Weller

In his life, Chief Weller had been nearly everything from Archeologist to Zoologist. He frequently lectured at the nearby academy and had earned himself countless honorary degrees. The one thing he pride himself in, despite his achievements, was his ability to read people.

Dr. Everard Weller had been with ACME since the beginning, when the agency was only a small private training facility. Back then, ACME was known as "A.C.M.E." an acronym that stood for "Academy for Combat Mission Enhancement". Today, it is simply ACME, with no dots in between the letters to force erase the notion that it ever stood for anything. As time passed and different ACME Chiefs came and went, Dr. Weller recently decided that he would become "Chief" Weller, and begin aiding agents more closely.

Vic the Slick

Vic is either selling something, or looking for something to sell. He can't pass up a good deal and considers himself a man of impeccable taste.

Vic started working with Carmen when she first left ACME. He tried to sell her a vehicle but ended up "lending" it to her. He still believes he gave Carmen her first getaway car.

Nevon

Ambitious, anxious, and a little over-attentive.

Nevon was born in Washington state and was an only child. His father left the family when Nevon was 4 and Nev lived with his grandmother while his mom struggled to work in the day and continue studying at night. He joined ACME following his girlfriend, Simone, who works in accounting for the company.

While Nevon is the generic ACME Agent in the fact that he wants to capture Carmen Sandiego, he also has a need to impress Chase Devineaux, who was his role model since his first year with the agency.

Eartha Brute

Outwardly, she's strong, vivacious, a regular comedienne with a love for bright colors and a firm believer in action speaking louder than words. Inwardly, she's a concealed romantic, keeping a personal library of romance books. Eartha keeps a secret diary of her imaginary or one-sided pursuits for love, which she vents to almost religiously. It's apparent that everyone in VILE knows of this book, because Eartha mentioned it unintentionally on many occasions. Most leave her be and those who tried to read it have found her handwriting impossible. Her recent limerences include thin, wiry men featuring glasses or "pretty" hair.

Eartha Brute started life as an orphan whose less than average speed of wit was compensated by her size. As a child, she was thought to be at least 5 years older than her real age. Eartha picked her own name at the age of 12, when she transferred to a different foster home. Eventually, she was urged to join a local body-building institution. Specializing in weight-lifting, Eartha competed internationally. (Details on how she joined VILE is still in the works.)

Eartha likes to have fun, and see the world. She also wants to settle down and write a series of romance novels from her own midwestern farm. She doesn't think this is possible until her boss and best friend, Carmen Sandiego settles down first.

Nina West

Nina is a Hockey fan back in Canada, but in San Francisco, she usually just reads and listens to Tibetan mantras with asian flutes. She loves horticulture and hopes to be a plant expert.
Nina was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Recently transferred to ACME in San Francisco after college, she hasn't taken her detective exams yet, but she'll have to in about 6 months. Her dorm room is #312

Studying to be an ACME Detective with a minor in horticulture.

Suhara

Many people will describe Suhara as calm, loyal and thoughtful. Although in retirement, Suhara likes to keep his mind alert, by teaching tai-chi, attending traditional tea ceremonies and live theater.
Born in Osaka, Japan, Suhara had a short career as part of the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the Osaka PD. In his mid-twenties, after the Japanese immigration quota had ceased, he and his family moved to San Francisco. Suhara later joined the budding international detective agency, ACME. He was also one of the first to work with then gifted-child-prodigy Carmen Sandiego when she started training at age 13. "You can not regret what can not be changed."

Suhara is an avid believer in good old-fashioned detective work. The C-5 is his least favorite method of transportation, and he is skeptical of the information that ACME info-scans provide. He is still quick-witted for his age, and can be lethal with a cane.

Xander

Xander is person with a smile always on their face, and a completely random song stuck in his head. Sometimes he loud, other times he is quiet. In general, he is a very cheerful person with an optimistic point of view. When he's angry though-Xander has a short temper. He also has a bit of an anxiety issue when things start to pile up too quickly. He will start to fluster and may eventually break down- not necessarily in tears but it becomes obvious that he develops into a half-scale panic attack.
Alessandro De Luca, or Xander as he is know by his friends, was born in Montreal, QC, Canada. Growing up in Montreal, he doesn’t show many of the stereotypical gestures or words growing up in that community …well except that he goes to a Deppaneur to buy medication and he likes his hot dogs “all dressed” (mustard and cole slaw). Being very intelligent at deciphering clues through WhoDunIt novels and the game of Clue, Xander grew a large interest in the line of detective work. He joined ACME at the ripe age of 16 under the pseudonym “Sayte-Felix Rememborance”, so that he could keep his actual life private from his work life. He is still aspired to be one detective that caught Carmen Sandiego. He returns now from school leave, with a year of Broadcasting- TV/Video underneath his belt at Canadore College and has returned to ACME under his legal name, because he sees not point of keeping two names anymore. He is also a Certified Bartender in Ontario- having his SmartServe and have taken a course in Bartending. In February 2009, Xander broke his ankle by falling down on ice. The break was a severe break that involved surgery. Although now Xander can never walk properly again, he still refuses to give up on Field Work as "whatever doesn't kill him, makes him stronger." He is a Second-Generation Canadian, being full Italian in his blood. "I'm too uncreative to come up with a creative quote."

His preferred fighting style is Archery, owning a beautiful rare Dalmasca long bow from a good friend at ACME for his for his 18th birthday- its still in its prime condition. He takes care of it everyday. His arrows are in the same condition as well. Xander can speak fluent English, French and is learning Italian.

Patty Larceny

If there were such things as professional groupies, Patty would be one. Adaptable to almost any popular cause, Patty holds only one thing sacred: Fashion. She makes it her personal goal to battle clashing colors.
Contrary to popular belief, Patty wasn't recruited by V.I.L.E. She is still not an official member of the legion. Story has it that Patty appeared one day and blended in so well no one paid her any mind.

Wants to dye her hair raspberry... wishes she has the guts.

Lee Jordan

Lee thinks extremely highly of himself and very little in the world could convince him otherwise. He doesn't like being proven wrong.

Lee Jordan worked with the ACME Detective Agency until he resigned... by joining V.I.L.E. That didn't go so well for him either. Lee could have been placed on trial for attempted manslaughter, but Avalon decided not to testify. Carmen, true to her style, disappeared. No body testified but the detectives. And since the detectives were viewed with the likelihood of one sidedness against Lee Jordan, all which remained of the defendant's offense were minor things like "Illegal possession of a weapon". The only part that took time was deciding where Lee Jordan was going to be tried. That's the funny thing about international law, extradition and all those legal frills can fall through. Lee was able to get out on bail in many of the countries he had to face, and the ones where he couldn't pay his way, his lawyers found ways to get transferred to a country that would work in his favor. It wasn't easy, but it took a damn long time. A fraction of a lifetime, maybe, but enough for a young man to be wiser. And more angry.

Chase!

According to most, Chase has an outwardly light personality despite being known for his silence. He's a competent and eloquent communicator, but stalls out on anything remotely intimate because he believes them to be unproductive. Chase processes his surroundings quickly; he picks out patterns and gauges exits -- this is practically a hobby. Some consider his thorough nature a close resemblance to paranoia. While he suffers from marginal recklessness and a quick temper, over the years, he's learned to keep that in control. As a leader, he focuses on creating a fair, commanding influence over those under his watch. Not all his decisions are faultless, and he can be idealistic, demanding, and narrow-minded. Often firm and resolute, he prefers his friendships strong and lifelong. He has a discerning moral compass, and as long as one approaches him politely, he is often the beginning of the end to their problems. He is, however, harsh on those he believes goes against his moral grain: A man of his caliber loses interest in traitors as swiftly as he demonstrates his devotion to those he cares for.

(Originally, Chase Devineaux was described as a Special Agent with a 'checkered past'. The following is fictional, subject to change, and is for entertainment purposes only.)

AFFILIATIONS + U.S. Marine Corps (Force Reconnaissance) + Interpol (Unofficial) + ACME (Private) TRAINING + Advanced Weapons Training + Non-Lethal Tactics Training + Krav Maga Training (Brown Belt) + SERE Training + SCUBA Training + HAHO and HALO Training BACKGROUND [1995 - 1997]: United States Marines 4th Division, 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company. [1997 - 2003]: Detective, ACME, private firm. Special Agent. [2003 - 2005]: Political Science, Master's Degree, Yale University. [2005 - 2006]: ACME Academy Instructor. [2006 - 2008]: Private Contracts, Krav Maga - Brown Belt [2008 - 2011]: ACME HQ in San Francisco, official (unofficial) Field Director, Special Operations. [2011 - Current]: ACME's Director ofOperations. After necessary education and a childhood in Warren, Maine; Chase Devineaux entered the U.S. Marine Corps and eventually took Officer Training. Despite gaining the rank of Marine Captain, he has never served in a war. In 1996, he entered ACME Academy and took the Detective Exam, primarily working in 'Missing Persons'. Sometime between 1998 and 1999, Chase was partnered with Carmen Sandiego on several international cases. The partnership was accepted, but was never considered official until after cases ended. By winter of 1998, the former Marine began working in Covert Operations for the Special Division of ACME. He took time off to pursue a master's degree in Political Science at Yale in 2003, among other things. Between 2005 and 2006, Chase Devineaux instructed ACME Agents at the Academy.

He officially resigned from the position in 2006 where he aimed to pursue a more serious relationship with his then live-in girlfriend. Consequently, the relationship failed and Devineaux spent the next two years working on private contracts. During this time, he pursued training in Israel where he received a brown belt in Krav Maga. Some time in 2008, Chase returned to ACME and accepted a new title. He is currently head of Special Operations and is ACME's Director of Operations. It's a little-known fact that Devineaux plays the piano and once was 'the guy with the guitar' before joining the Marines. He was a large force behind getting the Steinway in ACME HQ's wreck room.

Chase tackles problems and cases one at a time. He carries an idealistic long-term goal to someday have a family and a sail boat, possibly somewhere along the Mediterranean... not that he advertises that idea.

Sarah Nade

A music teacher by day, punk rock singer by night. Sarah has been working for Carmen for years, claiming that there's no other place where she can make money as easily and still have your boss understand that you've got to cut out of a heist to teach piano half a world away.

Depending on who asks there's always a different answer. However no one minds the idea of being on the cover of Rolling Stone.

Julie Justice

An All-American girl at heart, Justice's sense of fashion usually consists of a cowboy hat, T-shirts or gingham prints, cut off jeans, and heeled boots. While very down to earth with traditional southern politeness, Justice is also extremely confident and uninhibited. She loves to strike up conversations with anyone and everyone.

Justice was raised on a traditional Texas ranch, near a town with a population of about 3,000. When she wasn't cow herding, her favorite pastime was participating and watching the rodeo in nearby cities, where she became fascinated by people of different cultures and dreamed of traveling the world. Realizing that she'd never get anywhere without taking chances, she applied for a spot at the ACME Texas branch, but soon transferred to their headquarters in San Francisco. Her days are now spent studying, training, and working on cases… and she couldn't be happier!

Ivy Monaghan

Determined and assertive, Ivy often has the flaw of hitting first and asking questions later. Though she's quick to anger, she is also quick to cool down and is a decisive problem solver when on the field.

Ivy Monaghan is a Unit Commander for ACME's International Crimes Division at the agency's Headquarters San Francisco. She was born on November 23rd, 1986 and is the daughter of SFPD SWAT Lieutenant Liam Monaghan and Linguistics Professor, Dr. Shiela Monaghan. Ivy was introduced to ACME as a junior detective at age 16, where she specialized in international cases, many involving V.I.L.E. She was partnered with her brother, Zachary until 2004, when she took temporary leave to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology at Brown University.

Due to previous experience, Monaghan was subsequently recruited to ACME Hong Kong, serving as consultant and instructor for their newly formed Organized Crime Syndicate Task Force. On her return to ACME Headquarters, Ivy spent several semesters as an academy instructor (teaching Flight 101, Hand-to-Hand Combat and Close Quarter Combat Strategy) before continuing her career with the International Crimes Division. Towards the end of 2011, she took the position of Unit Commander for active field agents and trained with ACME's Alpha Team for elements of Project Brimstone.

Ivy is a trained pilot and has a passion for unarmed combat. She carries multiple black belts, with a particular speciality in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Taekwondo. Having more speed than raw strength, her mixed martial arts style also incorporates Thai Kick Boxing and Krav Maga.

Strange Fate

Bonney is an extremely gluttonous person with an extremely short temper. She would for instance, demand for more food despite stuffing her face with her current meal at the same time. While ill-tempered as she is, she however has some common sense and can be highly manipulative and persuasive.

Jewelry Bonney is descended from the 18th century pirate Anne Bonny and the criminal John Dillinger. However, despite her "Bad Blood" she has only committed two crimes in her life. She has yellow hair but she often dyes it Hot Pink. Bonney's knives have French names, and, for the most part, these names are references to natural phenomena like wind and storms. She is very knowledgeable about bombs and built her first A-bomb when she was 9. Bonney, for some yet to be specified reason, seems to be able to gorge down huge amounts of food without any adverse effects on her body. No matter how much she eats, she is somehow able to stuff all the food she ate without becoming full or even remotely fat.

Chip Masters

Nothing excites Chip as much as a fully working device with LEDs up the wazoo. When going outside, there's a bit of apprehension as all his beloved techy stuff is left behind. When he's outside for more than a half-hour, though, the apprehension fades. He also has a bit of admiration for the Final Fantasy series, especially the 7th game. Wallscrolls of characters from that game can be seen in his dorm room.

Born in Sonoma County, Chip moved south to Silicon Valley at 15 and dropped out of SF State at 19. His most cherished memory is building his first server at the age of 17.

Detective Awesome

Danny is usually friendly towards everyone he meets, but can be a bit boneheaded. Living on the ACME campus, Dan makes the most of his free time by organizing games and social events with the other detectives.

Before joining ACME, Daniel Ainsworth was flagged as a natural athlete, excelling in team sports. He saw the call for new detectives and figured that an agency that would finance trips around the world and jumping out of airplanes was the place to be. Unfortunately, Danny's skills in geography, mathematics, history, and languages were subpar to the average detective, and it took him several tries to finally get in.

For the first two years at ACME San Francisco Dan kept up a schedule of cases, classes and throwing parties with his roommate Pete Moss and best friend Nevon Blair at dorm 303. Due to his lower course skills, Dan made up most of his extra credit at ACME Labs where he discovered he had an aptitude for minor miscellaneous inventions. He now works full time at ACME Technologies Lab directly under Bran Brychanson. Dan has also trained with ACME's Alpha team for the duration of Operation Brimstone under the title of Field Technician. His job was to ensure the safe usage of the S.T.U.N. Suit and other ACME Technologies used on the missions.

Cali

Cali has an explosive personality when given the right fuel. She likes honest people, and hates to play guessing games during conversations. She has a pet Camel Spider named Nizny from one of the desert areas used for testing explosions.

"Nasci no Brasil" to a family linage of at least 3 demolitions expert from army veterans to guerrilla fighters, Cali is the only girl in a family of 6. She came to ACME at first with one of her brothers. Eventually, she stayed at the Academy to become ACME's first female demolitions expert. Cali participates actively in Bomb Squad activities. She also speaks with a Brazilian accent.

Emmesey Squire

Extremely smart, cold, calculating and cynical human individual. He possesses a dry, sarcastic sense of humor and a ruthless, almost psychopathic nature.
Squire is a rather unusual thief. Preferring to steal things that have a mystical or mythological background rather than steal things worth lot's of money. Two of his greatest achievements include the theft of the Spear of Destiny and the "acquiring" of the Hand of Midas. Loves inventing things To be the first and greatest mythological cross-species thief E Fragus Rex! THE FINGER LASERS!!!!!

High Intelligence, Practitioner of Rokushiki, Capoerira and Southern Dragon. Finger Lasers, Mirror Red-lens Sunglasses with several different kinds of vision. Has a massive arsenal of steampunk armor, hi-tech weapons, gadgets and magical items .

Phantom

On the whole Phantom is a withdrawn and rather blunt person which gives him a relatively cold disposition, to those who don't understand is workings. His reluctance to accept help from other and his general secretive nature also tends to hinder any work he is currently undertaking leading to fits of frustration and violent outbursts, which does nothing for his personal skills. His major strength lies in stealth and infiltration, pointing to a possible military background. Seeming as no-one knows what he looks like, he can disguise himself into almost any situation.

Very little is known about his background, he keeps it a closely guarded secret. All that is known or rather surmised, is that at some point in his life he was involved in a tragic accident leaving him horribly scarred forcing him to cover him most of his body. Another assumption is that he was born or at least raised in the United Kingdom, due to the amount of contacts he has there. No-one really knows how Phantom got involved with V.I.L.E. The most commonly excepted story is, Phantom was working for an unknown secret government agency and somehow managed to infiltrate V.I.L.E. HQ upon getting discovered, Carmen was so taken by his skills she offered him a job which for reasons only he knows, he accepted.

Papa Hercule

ex-police officer and ex-P.I and now a owner of chubby cheese's a kid's pizza and play place but secretly steals ancient artfacts for the money. And now finding someone to help him be more evil. He once was a famous belgian detective like his grandfather the first Hercule Poirot I was the one to create heist was arrested by his grandfather and father and I left the team of ACME to join V.I.L.E to make the Carmen Sandiego and her henchman well known around the world after he went to a party.

Ken U. Belevitt

Ken is possibly the jumpiest person you would ever have the displeasure of sneaking up to. If he is ever actually startled, he'll probably flail around knocking stuff over for a good 30 seconds before calming down. He speaks with a stutter that is not natural, but a by-product of his constant paranoia. He has a very large number of security objects that he clings to in order to feel safe which include his anime action figures, his yo-yo, his Gilligan-esque fishing hat, and the book that contains his stamp collection. Add to that the fact his portly frame is always dressed in a horizontal striped t-shirt and khaki shorts, his curly orange hair is always a mess, and his nasty tendency towards whining; you soon realize you're dealing with what is actually a 10 year old in a grown man's body.

Ken is incredibly intelligent, but he constantly needs to have his intelligence steered away from his conspiratorial concepts and onto whatever task VILE hopes to accomplish at the time. Fortunately, Ken is very gullible and can be tricked into doing just about anything as long as he believes it has something to do with one of his insane ideas. Someone who wants Ken to assist him need merely to say one or two things about, say, a museum holding evidence of alien contact to make him enthusiastic about disabling the security system. He considers all of the other VILE henchmen to be his friends and trusts them all 100% despite the fact he's obviously still being bullied. Ken particularly has a sizable crush on Patty Larceny, but he is too shy and ashamed of himself to say anything about it. Ken considers all ACME detectives to be his enemies....though according to him, they are also conspirators to the mole-man invasion that has been permeating the local government of San Francisco for a millennia. So, uh, go figure.

Growing up in Turlock, California, Ken was once a child prodigy, capable of reciting pi to 135 digits and building complex mathematical logarithms in computer binary. At age 12 he was forcefully asked to participate in a kids' game show on his local public television station, which he did not want to do because of stage fright. While nervously anticipating his appearing on stage in the green room, Ken accidentally knocked a TV monitor off a pedestal which landed on his head. A few months after recovering from his severe head trauma, Ken seemingly lost his accelerated intelligence and settled into an average, albeit awkward childhood, filled with comic book fantasies and laughter by other children at his expense.

Before long Ken became very isolated, very overweight, and very resentful of other people. That's when the conspiracy theories began. Obviously, his intelligence never truly left him, though after the TV incident, he began mentally connecting concepts in strange ways that were erratic and frankly incorrect compared to any solid, rational thought. He spent the entirety of his teen years building up totally insane theories for everything from the machinations of the world government to why dogs walk around in tiny circles before lying down. As is the natural progression of such things, Ken began to publish his wild outlandish ideas on the internet. VILE discovered his writings, and, reading between the lines of his insane ramblings, were able to see the firing synapses of an genuine genius behind them.

He was allowed to become a VILE henchman six months ago after completing the training course with the lowest possible scores in the history of Carmen's henchman. He currently serves as VILE's resident computer hacker. He is often manipulated into disabling security systems and causing devastation to government networks in the belief he's fighting against a corrupt government in accordance with his conspiracy theories. He's learned to trust everyone at VILE as an ally against the phantoms in his own imagination and doesn't realize that they are the liars and he is the pigeon.

Ken hopes to expose what he believes is the truth, but is probably extremely far away from accomplishing that goal, since nobody can be expected to believe him. He is content with being a VILE henchman and fighting against his own conspiracy in an active way, though. He always attempts to get Patty's attention in some small way every day. If she merely looks in his direction, Ken will act as if he's walking on sunshine. A template for Ken's default conspiracy rant: "Do you see how (blank) always seem to (blank)? Well, that's actually (blank) using (blank) to try to (blank). It's a conspiracy to (blank) all the (blank) and prevent people from understanding (blank). It's all very simple, really."

Ken always has access to a computer, whether it's his desk computer at vile HQ or a laptop he takes out into the field. He's pretty well useless without any form of computerized technology to deal with. Also, while it's not necessary to do his job, he will be reduced to a blubbering baby if he is deprived of any of his toys or the personal objects he keeps on his person and avoids letting anyone else touch.

Philo

The reformed VILE agent now no longer prides himself on being filthy and felonious, and couldn't be happier with the new leaf he's turned over. He is especially happy that he no longer has a chronic head cold, though he occasionally still coughs and sputters as he speaks. Despite having cleaned up his act, Philo is still a major gearhead. The engine overhauls he's made on ACME's vehicles rival those of Carmen's in speed and performance. Above all other vehicles, however, he still has the most pride in his own motorcycle, "Bonnie." Who wouldn't be proud of a bike that's crossed the Atlantic?

Despite the fact he often acts like a bonehead, he's actually smarter than he looks. I mean, he's not as genius as a lot of the people who surround him, you have to remember there was always something about him that attracted Carmen's attention..... Having shed his rudeness and crudeness, Philo is still...not that nice. Of course he doesn't threaten to headbutt anyone who turns their nose up to him, but he can be stern and often likes to keep to himself. The people who know him best, though know he's just a big softie deep down inside.

Philo T. Goldwater III was an average kid growing up in the city, until he fell in with the wrong crowd. He joined, and eventually became the leader of, "Hell's Trashmen," The dirtiest, foulest group of motorcycle gangsters ever to leave skidmarks across the Big Apple. It didn't take long for VILE to get a whiff of the malodorous dealings of Top Grunge and his mob, and offered him a position. Grunge accepted it, since he believed he was no good, and this was the only opportunity making money by being a total criminal. The infamously foul-stenched Top Grunge spent several years with VILE, and was responsible for some of the most spectacular heists in the history of the criminal organization. Of course, every single one had landed him in jail. Again and again, Grunge learned and re-learned the lesson that crime doesn't pay, until finally it sank in. On the anniversary of Top Grunge's 135th bust, the ACME Detective agency tried the absolute last ditch tactic they had left to reform the wayward road-hog: They called his mother.

After a long and very argumentative phone call, Grunge re-connected with the past he left behind, and miraculously, the filthiest vermin ever to circumnavigate the globe made the decision to grab a bar of soap and clean up his act. A few dozen bars of soap, a few cans of tomato juice and a couple gallons of organic paint thinner later, and Top Grunge has sufficiently come clean in body and soul. His newly cleansed spirit has now joined ranks with ACME, putting together his mechanic skills and his experience with Carmen Sandiego to become a formidable force in the endless battle against VILE.

Hobbes

Ass. Detective Thomas Hobbes of the Detroit Police Department touted the release of a statement last Friday referencing the Kibly chicken farm murder case as "fowl play." The reference, Hobbes said, "is a perfect example as to why desperate people resort to crime. If the authorities refuse to take the execution of justice seriously, why should everyday citizens feel safe with us?" Ass. Detective Hobbes has recently been transferred by the Detroit PD to ACME. "We're quitting ourselves of [Hobbes]" Police Chief Warren Evans stated, "cold turkey." - Associated Press

Thomas Hobbes is a strict enforcer and follower of law. Although not cruel, he is cold with regards to those who break the rules of society, adamantly believing the innocent suffer more from the actions of criminals such as Carmen Sandiego than the targeted affluent victims. Hobbes possesses little knowledge in how to actively engage an enemy in combat and resentfully feels he has been ill-prepared for his advancement into ACME. Occasionally Hobbes displays moments of empathy towards those he works against but his softer emotions are largely overshadowed by his calloused disposition.

Scruffy and downtrodden, Thomas Hobbes used to be an assistant detective for the Detroit Police Department of Michigan, United States.

In his eight years of active service, Hobbes saw little police action but was grudgingly credited as the main presence behind several successful sting operations. His circumspect attitude towards the activities of his coworkers and superiors was widely criticized, likely causing his lack of advancement in position throughout his policing career. Hobbes was recommended to ACME for his logical and deductive reasoning skills. Despite his resistance in agreeing to a position that took him away from his wife and daughter, the Detroit PD eventually played both Hobbes and ACME to accept one another.

Zack

Spunky, laid back, and comical, Zack approaches his situations in a much more calmer state, and he’d rather flee than fight. He suffers the consequences though when it comes to combat with VILE as he isn’t the best person to defend himself, but he can usually get away quickly, so he’s used often as bait. Zack is known for creating bad jokes to light up the tension.
As the younger half of a brother-sister detective team (the other being Ivy Monaghan), Zack traveled the world in pursuit of Carmen Sandiego and her V.I.L.E. henchmen. Zack graduated High School early and took a year off to travel around the world. He currently attends Harvard University for Linguistics and Computer Science, having started this past school year. He will be aiming for a double major with honours. He's back in San Fransisco, on an early school leave and currently is living at home. He is dating Tatanya. "Ivy, we're smart people. So why do we always do things that make us look like we have the intelligence of beef jerky? "

Unlike his sister who has knowledge of physical combat- Zack is familiar with Languages, already having the knowledge of over 20 fluently. He also knows a vast amount of facts about the world in general- including his fair share of useless ones. Zach knows a computer inside and out, both hardware and software- he is a genius at them.

Dragon

The infamous 'Dragon' has struck Toronto again! Several thousands of dollars of equipment and goods stolen and well into the tens of thousands in damages. Witnesses report that the Dragon took down the guards first with her hands and when guns were drawn she all but vanished... until the explosions went off. Thankfully no one was seriously injured and those on site say it was deliberate. True to her calling the Dragon has once again proven that she is both an enigmatic and dangerous beast of myth.

Looking for one hell of a fight and a heist. Pyromaniac that is more then a little feral. Just like the beasts of legend, I have a hoard of the loot I steal and no I am not telling anyone where it is. I'll say this though, I wouldn't attempt to break in even if you do happen to find it. Traps can be almost as lethal as waking the sleeping Dragon herself.

I've been on my own my entire life. I raised myself in the wild. With the help of my Wolf Mother and her pack, though she is gone I have a necklace with one of her fangs around my neck. I don't even remember my own name. I've adopted my nickname as my real name and respond as such. I may not know much but after I turned seven I was taken in by a martial artist and I've been fighting ever since. Learned what I could but I never went to school. My adoptive mother died when I was fifteen and I had to teach myself her skills and further my own learning. Which I did magnificently. Been wandering the world looking for a good fight and some not-so-legal thrills ever since. Got the nickname 'Dragon' from my adoptive mother because of the tattoo like dragon birthmark I have on my neck. I got myself some tattoos once the nickname stuck.

Probably doesn't help that I have very slightly elongated canines for a human being. Don't know why I have em, I just know that I do. Comes in handy when scaring people. If I had to guess though it's probably from the way I grew up. Body just adapted to the feral life I was born into.

Have some fun that is most certainly illegal. Working for Carmen, one of the few people I have an honest respect for. To protect what I know, and protect myself from those who do. "Humans confuse me."

Hand to hand is my style, though I'm a pyromaniac and a wiz with explosives. I don't really know how many fighting styles I know but I know that I can hold my own in a fight. Turned my obsession with all things sharp and pointy into a passion and I can call myself a weapons expert. Just not with guns, I don't believe in guns. So long as it is a weapon that's not a gun I'm pretty sure I've trained with it in some form before. I don't use guns but I have learned the basics just in case. I always have my custom made daggers on hand with me.

Crimson

Crimson is very lovable and honest even in the tough times. However, she can get very tough and defensive when pushed to her limits. If there is one thing Crimson loves the most it is keeping up with all the latest fashion trends. And then going shopping for them. Like any young adult, Crimson likes to party and frequently hosts parties at her New York City apartment.
Crimson was born in Baltimore to Thomas and Adrienne Paine. When Crimson and was 5 her parents divorced. Crimson lived with her mom in Baltimore and her little sister went to New York City with her dad. Two years later, Crimson's mom and step-dad died. Krys and Crim were sent to San Francisco to live with their grandmother. A 21 year old Crimson lost her fiancé, Jacob, while he was away in the military. A year later, when Crimson was 22, her grandmother died, leaving Crim to supervise her 18 year old sister. Ever since she was 18 years of age, Crimson has been modeling with a agent that works out of Paris.

Crimson would love to leave everything behind one day and get married. She would also love to be a stay at home mom.

Tanya

Tatyana enjoys the finer things in life, she dresses well and learned from her father that appearances isn't everything, but they do count. Like most the Russians that she grew up around, Tanya has a typically cynical view on life. She is emotional but very reserved, with the belief that there should be no difference between professional and personal feelings. Most of the time, she is indifferent, and she won't speak to anyone that hasn't been introduced. Tatyana has gone through entire social gatherings, having fun in them, without saying a single word. Also like many Russians, she's a passionate introvert. She'll shy away from extroverted behavior such as crossing her legs, stretching, yawning, or shouting in public, but has no problem with public display of affection.

Born in Moscow to 1st Class Test Pilot Captain Ceril Erzin (DOB - July 5, 1965) and Kara Erzin (a nurse), Tatyana is the first of 3 children. Her family home is in Nizhny Novgorod. As a father, Ceril Erzin does much to protect his children from any sort of manual work, having learned from his mother (Tatyana's paternal grandmother) who struggled to raise her two sons alone. Early in her life, Tatyana showed an interest in airplanes, puzzles, and (coincidentally) medical equipment such as needles and tubes. Somewhat lacking ambition, Tatyana thought to enter the same career path as her father, much to the dismay of her mother. Within 2 months of consideration into a military academy, a young Tatyana Erzin followed a group of friends to a charity event sponsored by ACME Moscow. There, she discovered the Agency and found it to be a good middle ground between what she wanted and what her parents would approve. Tanya Erzin was a Detective with ACME Moscow until November of 2010, where she accepted a role as ACME's Press and Public Relations Officer in San Francisco.

At one time, Tatyana wanted to be a cosmonaut (à la cosmonaut General-Major Valentina Tereshkova). She may still continue her education at the Zhukovskiy Military Air Engineering Academy by correspondence.

Synic

The original 'Synic-Bot' was a VILE Robot captured by ACME. New Synic was then recreated using existing or similar algorithms on recycled hardware by ACME computer researchers as a study subject. Synic's personality (now officially a female robot) remained and VILE once abducted ACME's version to study the changes for their own. ACME regained Synic from VILE after a raid of a henchman's mobile lab. Unable to determine what VILE had changed, neither side could trust Synic, and she was banished to Neutral Grounds to this day.

Sir VILE

ACME Criminal Recordkeeping--Dossier #182 Subject Name: Unknown Subject Alias: Sir Vile Sex: Male Height: 6'4" (with armor) Weight: 289 lbs (with armor) Eye Color: Unknown Hair Color: Unknown A convicted criminal known for wearing European plate mail. Intelligence indicates he has been employed by international thief and ringleader of V.I.L.E. conglomerate, Carmen Sandiego, for the entirety of his criminal career. Psychological analysis indicates that the subject suffers delusions of knighthood and chivalry that are deeply rooted to his psyche, so per statute #237 of the Treatise on the Treatment of Mentally Unstable Individuals, it is prohibited for ACME to forcefully remove his armor.

This results in a lack of information regarding his true history or identity. (Subject has voluntarily removed certain pieces during imprisonment, but has not been seen without his helmet. The helmet muffles his voice so completely that experts have not been able to judge which language he speaks, if any, making interrogation difficult.) Criminal History: (20 May, 2007) British Museum, London. Attempted robbery of the Papyrus of Ani. Incarcerated 21 May, escaped 28 May after breakout staged by Carmen Sandiego. Mikal

Growing up in a large military family, Mikal is very comfortable working in groups and under an authoritative chain of command. He is described by his superiors as a ‘straight-arrow’, never challenging orders, having a professional disposition, and capable of handling stress extremely well. Adversely, he can seem a little too carefree--making light of very serious situations or executing missions with a sense of emotional disconnection--causing some to question his moral codes. Those that know him well understand that Mikal is honest to a flaw. He finds deception and acting difficult, and prefers to rely on his other physical skills. His naivety and bluntness can also make his conversational statements seem cruel, rude, or sometimes even arrogant.

Born in Tel Aviv, Mikal Darsha enlisted in Israeli Defense Force training with the 35th Paratrooper Brigade, 101st Cobra Airborne Battalion, and retired at the rank of Second Lieutenant. He later transferred to Mossad, The Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations. It is believed, though not confirmed, that he specializes in covert assassination and sabotage. Darsha became affiliated with ACME through USMC Captain Chase Devineaux, a long time family friend, and later adoptive brother. After a joint mission with the Special Operations division of ACME, Mikal remains an informant for the private company. Mikal has a B.A. in Security and Terrorism at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzliya. His first language is Modern Hebrew, and speaks proficient, though accented English. He also knows conversational Gulf Arabic and Farsi. Mikal is the 5th son of an Israeli-Druze colonel and war hero. He has 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Edgar "Eddie" Mology

A grammar nazi if there ever was one, Eddie keeps an eye out for spelling mistakes at all times. His pedantry is prone to get the best of him even in the middle of a mission. However, outside of his monomania, Eddie is actually pretty good with people, as a talented sociologist. It is the rest of things in life that puzzle him. Messy and disorganized, with a bad sense of orientation and a worse grasp of technology, Eddie can deal with others much better than he deals with himself. Indeed, when it comes to expressing personal thoughts, the voices in Eddie's head get the best of him and he can never express himself in the correct language.

Eddie was raised by an ever changing crew of off-duty flight attendants from all over the world after he was found lost as a toddler at Atlanta International Airport and never claimed back.

An intelligent boy, he quickly picked up the different languages used by his surrogate parents, and had mastered over a dozen by the age of ten. At about that time, a change in the airport direction demanded that the boy leave the airport and be taken in by an orphanage, despite his uncertain nationality. Eddie, however, refused to leave the Duty Free area and remained hidden for another five years, living on petty theft and dodging airport security by passing himself off as a tourist or part of a family thanks to his forgettable looks and flawless accents.

He was eventually caught at the age of fifteen and put in juvie, where he caught up with his education in record time, and went on to study Social Science and Languages in Harvard. By the time he got his diploma, he was fluent in 37 languages, living and dead, and that was his undoing. The tower of Babel in his brain eventually collapsed, leaving him with a score of voices in his head, all of which spoke in different tongues, and some very... criminal ideas...

Obsessed with the idea that language is the basis for thought, Eddie flirts with the idea of being able to manipulate people's morals and thought patterns by controlling their speech. For example, he believes that eradicating the word "No" will create a world where everyone will be unable to resist orders, because thinking a negative answer will be impossible! His work for V.I.L.E. usually revolves around pieces of linguistic value, or which may have a social or political impact on a country's population.

Never a man of action, he accomplishes his heists by subterfuge, using his skills to manipulate and impersonate others and thus outsmarting the most complex security procedures. A costume and a perfectly believable accent are all he needs.

Euge

Anywhere outside the cockpit, Euge is a soft spoken, somewhat apathetic character. On several occasions, Euge has been accused of sleepwalking, despite being wide awake. He has a tendency to stay out of verbal sparring matches, despite evidence of being able to hold his own in debate. When behind the stick, Euge becomes a different man, awake, alert, and sharp eyed. He never loses his cool, even in the face of complete disaster. Euge always hides his eyes behind either a visor or aviator sunglasses; he has allowed very few people to look him in the eye.

Growing up in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, Eugene learned to fly almost before he learned to walk.

When he was 16, Euge was sent by his widower father to live with his uncle while he finished high school. Right out of high school, Euge joined the marine corps to fly V-22's. Medically discharged in his 4th year of service, Euge spent time earning his doctorate in aerospace engineering before joining a small startup aerospace company. As a result, he became a test pilot, accumulating stick time in every flying machine imaginable, with some well funded, if questionable transport jobs on the side.

Eugene is doing exactly what he loves right now, but he does have a few modest aspirations; fly something outside earth's atmosphere, make enough money to support his fuel habit, and be able to drive without spinning out.

El Halcon

Dedicated to the promotion of justice, and the triumph of good over evil, El Halcon is a true hero. A luchador to the very letter, he never removes his green and white luchador mask, even in the shower. He is almost always seen in full costume, though he sometimes wears a hat and trenchcoat over it in public to lessen the spectacle. He is also quite fond of reading, and is always seen in idle moments with a paperback in his hand. Some people say he is a little too honorable for his own good. (He's let a few female criminals slip away because he won't lay a hand on a lady.)

Other people are in search of something dark or dirty about his past. (They haven't found anything.) The only thing that seems human about him is a certain weakness for Mexican pastries, especially Marrranitos. (Molasses cookies shaped like little pigs.) At any rate, he is a powerful and valuable ally for a detective to have, and he is dedicated to the elimination of crime.

Raised on the mean streets of Juarez. The boy who would become El Halcon Verde, lived a hard life in a poor neighborhood surrounded by gangs and violence. His sole joy as a youngster was the ability to sneak out of the house in the middle of grocery runs to the Lucha Libre shows. He was very fond of masked wrestling, and a particular fan of the city's technico (good guy): El Aguila Rojo. Before long, the Red Eagle learned of the young fan, and after wrestling matches, the two would hang out and speak about the greatness of lucha and the majesty of the ring. Everything changed one night, however, when a group of thugs attempting to shake down the arena for protection money burst in, wielding shotguns at the audience.

El Aguila Rojo, atempted to stop the thugs, when one shot him in the back. He was dead. Fearing the police, the hoods ran out like cowards. As the boy saw his hero fall from his place of hiding, he had decided his path in life. Over 10 years, the boy snuck out of his home to train at the arena. He learned all the arts of masked wrestling, but he never forgot the lessons of his original teacher. After climbing to the top of the local wrestling ladder, the same thugs returned after a stint in jail. The boy, having been unrecognized by the thugs, donned the mask of El Aguila Rojo and, upon re-appearing before the thugs, frightened and fought them into submission. When the cops arrived, the boy told the thieves "here are the men who mudered El Aguila Rojo."

The cops responded. "But, sir, YOU are El Aguila Rojo." Soon after that, the boy, now a young man, donned the mask of El Halcon Verde, and became a sensation in the international wrestling circuit. He won numerous titles. He holds the record for holding the Mexican championship belt for 3 years and 75 individual matches, and gaining the world title against Rudo Rudolpho in a combination steel cage/coffin match. After twenty more years, El Halcon has gone into retirement. After a year of retirement, El Halcon Verde has become restless, and is in search of a new challenge. He has decided to call in a favor from an old friend: Chief Weller, to join ACME headquarters in San Francisco, to begin a new life as a crime-fighter.

Loralye

Loralye Jane Watts was born in London, England on April 2. By age 1 it was apparent that Loralye surpassed normal intelligence. A private tutor was then enlisted. Loralye achieved her high school diploma by age 11 and moved with her parents to the States to further her education. She was accepted into Brown University and has a degree in Biophysics and a recently acquired PhD in Biochemistry. Loralye has an IQ of 220, rivaling Leonardo De Vinci. She also possess a photographic memory. Loralye is now currently employed by V.I.L.E. Loralye is an expert linguist being fluent in over 30 different languages.

N/A

N/A is completely devoted to ACME. She is incredibly focused which often detracts noticeably to her other characteristics. Incredibly strong-willed, there is also a good deal of consideration in her, shown not only through her actions, but in her very visage. Depending on the circumstances she is very social and quick-wittted, but often, when in deep thought, she appears in an ill-temper and keeps to herself. This leads others to believe her to be moody. Although naturally quick-tempered, when working there is a level-headedness that makes her indispensable.

It is apparent through her work that there is an extensive martial arts background. While it is unknown where she is from or if she studied, there is no doubt that she's been around the block. She has extensive knowledge on a very broad number of subjects, but is especially apt when it comes to technology. This will be elaborated on when background is disclosed.

N/A has no documented background. Hired under ACME under special circumstances, no information can be disclosed until it proves beneficial to remove incognito status.

N/A is uninterested in the minor workings of ACME. While she may work on preventing and solving crimes to pass the time, her true work is the disintegration of organized crime groups on a much larger scale...

Katherine Clark

Tends to be introverted and at times antisocial; not generally the initiator of conversation and often prefers independent activity over social events. Despite the number of people to come into her life, most have also gone due to Katie’s gypsy-like past, and as such, the scientist has little confidence in long-term personal relationships. Sarcastic, although not especially witty. More cynical than she’d like to be. No matter how unprofessional and cliquish co-workers may get, Katie will rarely engage in such activity while at work (see Character Quote).

Professional relationships qua professional relationships, in contrast to personal relationships, are far more valuable to and comfortable for the scientist. Interests include reading, music, guitars, computers, cooking, nitpicking forensics shows, and Greek Mythology. Favorites include Atlas Shrugged, Clue (game and movie), the band No Doubt, Epiphone guitars, Vans shoes, Doc Martens boots, and men’s accessories (hats, belts and neckties). Guilty pleasures include anime, fan fiction, video games, The X-Files, NCIS, John Hughes movies and that last pint of Guinness. Peeves include poor grammar, asking for help before using available resources (ie: software help files, internet, dictionary), and the phrase “let’s just agree to disagree,” especially when used in an argument where the answer is fact, not opinion.

Ingrid Lee

Ingrid Lee is a girl who enjoys sitting in the corners of coffee shops reading a best seller novel. She likes to stay undercover and quiet at most times. Although, she is able to adapt to new surroundings and new people quite well.

Ingrid Lee has always had a troubled childhood. Her parents were always away on "trips" that she never really understood the meaning of, living in downtown Detriot didn't really help her stance either. But things started to change when the sudden death of her father when she was only 14 was announced. And then things started to become clear.

Many people who she had never met or seen before attended his funeral, many wearing sunglasses with sly looks on their matured faces. With careful sleuthing into her father's domain (his study) she found the unexpected. Various 'cases' and 'suspects' folders were found above his laptop which was carelessly left on. Hacking into the computer, Ingrid was able to discover her fathers' double life. His family/father hood life, and his spy life. Now at the age of 16, Ingrid is determined to follow in her father's footsteps. She is determined to make him proud no matter what.

Allison

There are two sides to everyone and with Allison it is no different... a senior in art school, Allison doubles as a local video terrorist hijacking television signals and pirating broadcasts... After months of broadcasting, "Where are you Carmen?" one night, much to her surprise, she received a text message from a blocked number that simply read, "We know who you are and who you are looking for. When you are ready to find the answer, we'll find you. Tread lightly friend, we are not to be messed with!" Excited at the possibility of meeting who some had called an urban legend, for a week Allison transmitted, "some may call you vile, but i think you're neat."

Two days after her final broadcast to VILE, she received a cryptic message. Again, the number was blocked. "A former President in the land of Eden." Was it really Carmen? And so close to where she lived? The clue was right there and anyone from Kansas City could decipher it! "A former President in the land of Eden." John Smith had once claimed that the garden of Eden was in missouri, in the same town where Truman was born. Jumping into her convertible, Allison drove to see Truman's house, unsure of what she would find. After taking the tour of the old President's home, she began wondering if she had mistaken the clues to mean something else... but where was Eden then?

As she slumped into the driver's seat of her car, she felt a soft vibration coming from her pocket; she had received another clue! "I heard about a place where a girl could hear Glenn Miller, but they could have at least painted it blue!" Annoyed that she had just come from that direction, Allison drove to the jazz district of Kansas City. As she approached the doors of The Blue Room, she was grabbed and thrown against the side of the building.

"Just who do you think you are?!" barked the tall dark-haired man. "i'm just trying to listen to some music, sir," she tried to reply as she noticed the garish ACME badge. How stupid of her, she thought to herself. Of course it wasn't Carmen sending the clues. Why would Carmen have taken such and interest in her? It was all a trap. Unsatisfied, the ACME agent released her and replied, "fine, but we won't always welcome you with such open arms. If you change your mind; here." Holding out a business card with only a number on it, he turned and walked down the alley. Breathing a sigh of relief and realizing that it had in fact been Carmen sending her the messages all along,

Allison turned to walk into the Jazz museum. As she turned the doorknob her phone started ringing. Unknown Caller. It was her! "Seems you're too late, dearie. I saw everything. You can tell your partner and the Chief I say 'hi.' But for now, I'm afraid I really must be going." Allison stood there, stunned. It was over. Carmen was gone having left no clues to find her. She reached into her pocket to grab a cigarette and fingered the corners of the business card. One way or another, she would find Carmen. She would see her face and know the woman was not that of an urban myth, but real. Allison began punching in the phone number to ACME as she thought to herself, "one way or another..."

Epsilon Rose

Epsilon Rose is a consummate gentleman and phantom thief, that is to say while he'll steal almost anything he operates under a very strict set of rules. The first and most important of these rules is that if ANYONE get's hurt his heist is automatically a failure and he forfeits all right to any goods he may have stolen; the second rule is that a theft must have style, it's no good to simply blow in the front door and grab the thing there must be showmanship there must be flare, to this end Epsilon will often send notice of his impending thefts to the papers; as a corollary to the previous rule if he announces a target he will only steal that target, just because they stored the priceless jewels next to the target statue doesn't mean you can pocket them; the third rule is quite simply exercise discretion when choosing a target, it's one thing to steal a priceless portrait from some billionaire it's quite another to steal it from the artists grieving widow.

Feeling that it is necessary for thieves to distinguish themselves from the baser criminal Epsilon will often move to thwart or even aid in the capture of those who violate his rules and dare to call themselves thieves. It should be noted that as a result of the first rule Epsilon will only fight in defense of another or if he is in mortal peril.

Contralto

Born in New Jersey, 1858. Contralto, late prima donna of the Imperial Opera of Warsaw. Acquaintance of many, though nary realize it. Many a casefile's details contain her signature for one who would take the time to observe rather than merely see, yet the only identifiable account of her actions outside of the musical realm was penned by one Dr. John Watson, whom Irene held considerably enough leverage over to ensure the contents were edited to her liking.

As such, records of the actions of one Irene Adler or Irene Norton are to be taken with a grain of salt; regarding the depiction, she has to say: "'As a lover he would have placed himself in a false position'? *laughs* That's brazen, even for John. Has dear Mary ever read this one, I wonder? I may have to read it to her next time I come rescue her from the tedium of a husband who splits his time between medicine and . . . putting someone in a false position."

Jerry N. Westfall

Jerry N. Westfall, is, for lack of a better term, a techhead. Anything made of metal and wires reveals its secrets to him, and he is a firm believer in the ability of technology to help law enforcement and life in general. Without technology, he is lost, but he doesn't let it harm his overall confident demeanor. He doesn't particularly relish human interaction, finding people to be too "messy" and, frankly, biological.

Jerry Nathan Westfall was born in New Jersey on April Fool's Day, 1987. As an only child, he mentally and emotionally matured quickly.

His father was a computer engineer and his mother was a lawyer, and from an early age he showed interest in both of his parents' careers. When he reached high school, as a science fair project he programmed a very complex firewall. Luckily for him, one of the judges had connections with the cybercrimes division of law enforcement, and he got a part-time job catching hackers. In return, he got sponsored to go to college, where he is getting a double-major in mechanical engineering and computer information systems. He recently gave a presentation stating how with proper programs and a healthy dose of human ingenuity, it would be possible to predict crimes before they happen. The boss said jokingly that they should try that on V.I.L.E. and Carmen Sandiego. Without hesitation, Jerry said he could do it. The instant he graduated, he was shipped off to ACME, with a recommendation from his boss.

He hopes to create a "crime computer" that is not only capable of cataloging crime, but identifying problems before the crime occurs, or analyzing clues to catch crooks faster, perhaps in the act on their first crime.

Peter Disher

Peter Disher has learned how to live his life from the theatre. That being said, it is no surprise that he is verbose, confident, suave, intellectual, and chivalrous to a fault. He especially identifies with the Phantom from Phantom of the Opera and Macavity from Cats. He believes that what he is doing is for the good of the people, to make them realize what they have lost.

Peter Henry Disher was born on February 28th, 1985.

The illegitimate son of a Broadway theatre manager and an actress who was willing to go to any lengths to play in a Broadway show, Peter never really felt wanted. He found his escape in the theatre, both in movies and in live performances. Music especially enthralled him. He found pop music to be too empty and meaningless for him, and instead gravitated to musicals. As he grew older he continued to feel ostracised for his love of the theatre, as others classified him as a nerd and beneath their notice. The straw that broke his back came on the day of his mother's funeral.

She had died of cancer from years of smoking, and Peter talked to his father that day and asked him what he planned to do with the theatre. His father replied that he'd probably sell it to some poor sap who didn't know that theatre wasn't the cash cow it used to be. Peter became enraged, demanding to know what his father thought of the culture that the theatre brought. His father calmly replied that it had never been about the stories, only the audiences. As he watched his father walk away, Peter realized that there were so few people in the modern age that truly appreciated the magic of culture. Well, if they couldn't appreciate it when they had it, then he'd make them appreciate what they'd lost when he took it!

He dreams of having his own personal repository of cultural artifacts, as he sees himself as the guardian of culture. He would not keep it forever though, letting the public have access to the items once it has shown a proper desire and reverence for them.

Veronika Maksimovna Sedova

I was born March 8th, 1973 in Irkutsk, Siberia. My father Maksim worked as a nuclear engineer. He died in the Chornobyl Power Plant Explosion in 1986. My mother, Elizaveta, stayed at home and took care of me and my twin sister, Nadezhda. She died accidently, falling and hitting her head while in the shower. But this is besides the point. I used to be a good girl, straight A student, law-abiding citizen... I've seen too many injustices made. I chose a life of crime because it just feels right, and I want people to suffer! I have no regrets.

Kari

Kari is caring, warm and sensitive. She can by shy, but is currently trying to overcome her shyness. She is a good listener and agents all over come to her. From Ivy and Rock Solid to Maya, Ben and Chase; everyone agrees that she is a good friend. When on a mission, she is dedicated and serious, but generally optimistic and fun loving. She is more introverted and mature, but has no problem being at Acme parties. She has a crush on Chase Devineaux. she also has a hard time saying no to people. Kari is also extemely loyal to her friends.

Kari was a normal girl.

When she was 10, her parents were killed in a car accident and the Chief at ACME took her in. She trained to be an agent and was assigned the Babble-On case at age 13 and a half, causing her to meet Chase Devineaux. While working on the case, she obtained a crush on Chase. She has proven herself a capable agent and friend. Chase is fond of her, but does not know of the crush.

She wants to impress Chase and be a good friend. Not a specific goal, though. She has mixed feelings about Carmen. Kari believes that Carmen just likes the fun of the chase, and doesn't mean any real harm.

Besides all this, Sly is a man who thinks on his feet, very adaptable to his surroundings. He is cunning, witty, charming, and utterly intelligent.

Peter Fuster

(The ACME portion of the profile is based on my experiences with the TV shows and games.) After hearing about Carmen Sandiego's crimes on the news, Peter decided to attend the ACME Academy in order to help make a difference. Joining up at the age of 7, he took classes out of Los Angeles, discovering that he had a natural gift for history and geography. He rose quickly through the ranks, and within five years, Peter was a top ranked sleuth in ACME's CrimeNet and TimeNet divisions. He also worked a series of covert undercover operations as a double agent.

After graduating from eighth grade, Peter retired from ACME to concentrate more on his studies. He graduated from Occidental College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor emphasis on Classical Studies. However, Peter was never truly able to stay away from detective work. Finally, after more than eight years, he decided to come out of retirement and rejoin the fight against Carmen Sandiego and her V.I.L.E. organization. Peter can speak Spanish, Latin, and Ancient Greek. Upon rejoining ACME, he was assigned to the agency's Los Angeles field office.

Aside from ACME business, Peter's travels have taken him to Canada, Spain, the Dominican Republic, the British Virgin Islands, Italy, Switzerland, France, San Marino, and Vatican City. He has loved classical music since his grandfather introduced him to the genre as a baby. His favorite composer is Ludwig van Beethoven.

To once again lock intellectual horns with Carmen Sandiego and bring V.I.L.E. and its members to justice. "Training and equipment can only do so much. In the end, an agent is only as good as his brain and his heart."

Peter relies primarily on his knowledge of history, geography, and world culture to thwart V.I.L.E.'s plans. This allows him to see through Carmen's clue riddles and uncover her next move. While not as skilled in hand-to-hand combat as some other agents, he does know basic martial arts and is quite capable of defending himself, thanks in part to training with his grandfather, a World War II veteran who holds a brown belt in judo. He is also quite a decent swordsman, if conflicts boil down to crossing blades. He also loves using the new crime fighting tools developed by ACME technicians. Combine this with his years of experience, and you get an agent who knows what needs to be done to capture Carmen Sandiego.

Lupin IIII

Lupin IIII exhibits his family's signature wit and insouciant attitude towards life. He is also cursed with his family's luck with the ladies, that is to say he can get any woman he wants be it for pleasure or profit, but as soon as he gets serious about someone, down the gutter becomes a best case scenario.

Lupin comes from a very famous line of gentleman thieves. The first of which was his great grand father Arsène Lupin I, a thief capable of defeating even the illustrious Sherlock Holmes. This tradition continued for two more generations with his father Lupin III being the most recent. In each generation a Lupin has stood at the top of the criminal world, and in preparation for this Lupin III gave his son the best training he could, including not only the traditional arts of disguise and masterminding but having his two most trusted accomplices teach him both swordsmanship and marksmanship. When he felt his son was ready to carry on the family name he retired, unfortunately things did not go as planned.

Despite having attended numerous underworld gatherings and parties and having the best training a master-thief could hope for he refused the role; prefering instead to become a detective in an attempt to atone for his families sins.

Lupin whishes to be come as great a detective as his forebears where thieves.

Lupin IIII is an expert with both guns and swords, prefering the japanese tanto and the Desert eagle. He is also a master of many of the non-violent criminal arts such as disguise, lock picking, and the intricacies of planning a heist. Despite his abandonment of the family business in favor of a career in law enforcement he retains access to the seemingly endless Lupin family fortune. He is currently driving a Gemballa MIG-U1 that has been modified to include among other things: a nitrous system, role-cage, and reinforced bumpers courtesy of aforementioned fortune.

"You chase a crook, you kick them into jail and you're home before SCRUBS. Its just simple." "I'll even take you out for a bee-" Her words were cut off, realizing that Sayte was underage. "Ice Cream if he's at home. Nothing makes a confrontation with another agent feel better than a nice, tall, frosty... ice cream." "[Goodie Goodie] Chase... if you talk to me like that again I'm going to shove my foot up your [gumdrop]!" Mayhem growled out, taking her blackberry out now that the speed was down to a measly 71mph and tossing it to Sarah. "Sarah, call Germany's ACME offices... we'll need an air surveillance team and a few officers..." Her hands gripped the wheel tight again, this time in frustration. "There. Are you happy?" she asked the voice in her wrist. "I lost the [goody] audi." Short of listening to Barry Manilow on an infinate loop she was now in her own personal circle of hell.

Kidman

Kidman started out cheerful and carefree, but grew more fearful and given to panic when her psychic abilities began to surface. She spent many years in hiding in solitude, then several more trapped in a state of upheaval when Carmen disappeared, wreaking havoc on her already frail emotional state. Her encounter with ACME brought this to a head, and with Carmen once again at the helm of VILE, it remains to be seen what arises from the ashes. She is veteran of the Seraphim Raid of 2013, where she served as a medic alongside ACME personnel, and consequently has a more relaxed view of VILE/ACME relations.

While she is about thirty years old, Kidman is emotionally delayed in many areas and somewhat unsocialized due to her lack of human contact in her formative years.

Kidman woke in a field in northern Yorkshire when she was a young girl. Battered, scarred, and without memory of who she was, she wandered until she stumbled upon a VILE training facility, where she was treated, fed, and eventually named. In awe of their leader, Kidman stayed with VILE to repay her in any capacity she could. Her true origin is not fully known, but it is believed she is an escapee of black site scientific research. She is terrified of being found and is adamant that she never be documented. While Kidman is a VILE agent, she is not a thief and has no interest in the game other than to cheer her fellows on as they play. She enjoys pasta, being in the air, and camaraderie.

She is terrified of certain manners of restraint, rooms without windows, Russian and Russian accents, and the feeling of nausea.

To be of good use. Omnes qui transit sub meas manus vivet.

Originally a 'grunt' , Kidman is a cog of all simple trades. She prefers to work behind the scenes, and was instrumental in the continued survival of VILE through steady maintenance, even as her mental health declined. Kidman is also psychically gifted. The extent of her abilities are unknown, but she is able to manipulate biological matter in spaces up to a cubic centimeter with a good deal of effort. Kidman has crayons and roombas and she's not afraid to use them.

Deric Storm

Confident, charismatic, and easy-going. Deric enforces the spirit of the rule more often than not, which makes it appear occasionally that he bucks authority. The best way to describe Deric is that he's one part Sam Guthrie (Cannonball from X-men comic books), one part Dirk Pitt (Sahara movie), one part "Faceman" Peck (Bradley Cooper version), one part John Smith (Brad Pitt), and one part Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly, NCIS) Si vis pacem, para bellum

Born in Long Island, New York to Tim and Maggie Storm. Lost both parents at a young age. Raised by paternal grandparents in Fairview, Nebraska. Joined ACME after graduating college (B.S in History) as part of an accelerated training program.

ACME Advanced Training Class No. 7 "The Berzerkers" (all characters listed are my creations, if you wish to borrow, please ask) Mentor: Ilya Mouremitz (Former Soviet Military Police) Class Roster: Deric Storm, Shane Brooks, Christian Underwood, Rachel Phillips, Cameron Nelson, Brendan Smelling, Nick Hawking Claire Middleton, Ryan Fujita, Lisa Sparks

Great googly-moogly... You don't pay me to be subtle

Prefers to use brains instead of CrimeNet. Not afraid to get into a fight. Has over ten years of training in Muay Thai on top of martial arts training in ACME's academy. Prefers to carry two 9mm handguns on assignment. Otherwise, he uses whatever weapon he can find in the area.

Flag

Additional notes pulled from ACME Detective Agency Known Felon Database (KFD # 73691242). Surveillance records show suspect has involvement in the VILE theft of Tower 1. Suspect had infiltrated the ACME compound as a janitor by the name of Joe Stutton. Further investigation revealed this to be an alias. Suspect has been identified by another alias (Franklin Everett) by ACME informants [names redacted] and may be involved with a series of murders with suspected ties to Ex Libris (see KFD # 1937576). Suspect is to be considered armed and dangerous. Take precaution when engaging.

Melissande Ophelia Hensworth

Melia is a connoissuer of things vintage, rare, unusual, mythical, occult, strange, and potentially dangerous. You will never see her without red lips and high heels (preferably stilettos, for they can be lethal...) Her accent fluctuates. Chances are, you're not going to hear the same one twice from her. She is a walking encyclopedia of all things mythical. Melia has multiple degrees from various universities around the world, including one in Gemology, one in Linguistics, one in Religious Studies, one in Art History, and one in Cultural Anthropology.

Her greatest possesions in life are her record player and vinyl collection.

Melissande has no known past before the age of 16; she is an excellent pickpocket nonetheless. She also is gifted at reading tarot cards, mimicking voices, and blending in. She has friends in all the right circles (and a few of the wrong ones, as well). You've probably met Melissande, only you don't remember it.

Ms. Hensworth's goal is to not be caught. She also wishes to obtain the perfect red lipstick.

Hinnom

Dramatic and highly trained, Hinnom speaks in complex sentences and multi-syllabic words. He's a proud and determined man with a grand, theatrical nature.

As a child, Hinnom's parents took him to the circus. He wandered off and was found by a woman who claimed she could read futures in her crystal ball. Seeing great things in Hinnom, she took him in and raised him in the circus. From an early age, Hinnom practiced slight of hand and acrobatics. The contortionists taught him to move skillfully. He learned theatrical makeup and costuming from the backstage crew and promptly became one of the best at disguises.

Since the circus was always on the road, Hinnom studied on his own. His knowledge quickly surpassed most children his age when he discovered physics and learned the ways different molecules intereacted. By the time he was 12, he could use his knowledge of physics to perform magic few on the stage could understand. His promising career was cut short when one of his magic tricks went awry and exploded all the lights in tbe theater, setting the stage on fire. He was promptly fired. Now, he's looking for another profession that can utilize his skills. VILE may be just what he's been looking for.

To make a living using his unique skills.

“Magic has no measured meter. Subtle as starlight when observed from across the universe, it is as the reminiscence of an aroma, or a resonance scarcely outside of earshot. It is inexplicable, incomprehensible, indeterminable, indecipherable, inscrutable. It is an enigma of the unknowable. How can you venture to identify its like? Nay, surrender this dogged resolution, this insular aspiration to know all and comprehend nothing."

Annabelle

Annabelleis a mixed little teasy girl. She loves to challenge any kind of Hierarchy and put some kind of authority on her own. She has a crush of the dark deeds that the V.I.L.E. brings to all the Agents of A.C.M.E. She crushes Ms. Sandiego too <3
Annabelle was a brainless child until find the world of computers. She found herself hacking and living inside the World Wide Web, contributing to the growing Cyberactivism and challenging others hackers to take down a Corporation's server. She didn't know she would face the V.I.L.E. as her virtual enemy. They hacked badly into her profile, therefore she's got arrested for Bad Hack Condut. Annabelle works to the Sub-A.C.M.E. in Dublin since 2005

She wants to be the best of the best (Or die like the rest) and do her job better than anyone else. But her eager of anarchy always screw her around in the Agency.

Derringer

Derringer is smart but impulsive, quick on her feet, and has a short temper. Fearless to the extreme, she rarely backs down from a challenge, but can get very frustrated if things aren't working the way she wants. She's an amiable and good natured person, who loves a good laugh and believes in hard work.

Derringer is a spunky teenager who loves thrill-seeking and a good challenge.

She has a history of recklessness to prove it, but she has long aspired to join ACME since she was small. Some of her hobbies include rock-climbing, swimming, motocross racing, and karate. She also is a good marksman. Needless to say, she is talented but rough around the edges, and very eager to experience life.

Derrin, of course, aspires to finally capture Carmen Sandiego, but is more enthralled with the idea of the chase.

Jacqueline Hyde

Jacqueline is a real sweetheart; friendly, innocent, and you can always count on her. Not to mention she absolutely loves anything and everything cute and cuddly. While as her split personality Hyde is the real criminal and can be rather...vile so to say~ Hyde is the brains behind the operation and is prone to yelling and small fits of rage whenever she surfaces. Though she has great respect for Carmen. Her specialty and favorite thing to do is stealing.

Jacqueline lived a normal and average life for a girl in New York, a good student, daughter, and friend, she was the perfect example of a goodie-two-shoes. No one she knew could have guessed the secret she hid. For she had what many would call "a split personality".

Though for the most part, her more diabolical and criminal personality stayed quiet, that is as she got older. It became more prevalent, shurfacing even more often than before ; this criminal personality becoming just as developed as her kind one. Though after a while, the personalities became more in-sync with each other, each side of Jacqueline being allowed to express themselves. Of course, while Jacqueline still remained as kind and innocent as she always was, Hyde continued committing crimes under the guise of the seemingly innocent Jacqueline Hyde. Though upon joining V.I.L.E and meeting other agents, both personalities seemed to have relaxed a bit (mainly meaning Hyde had cooled down a bit). Though now with mixed feelings (and opinions) Jacqueline is a proud member of V.I.L.E., wanting to do her best for the organization, her fellow agents, and Carmen of course!

Jacqueline just wanted wanted to lead a normal life, though she has no choice but to stick with Hyde. Hyde of course has different dreams, wanting to make sure that she's a VILE Agent worth her name as well as the respect of her peers. Not to mention stealing more objects of value and generally causing mayhem and misery.

Diana Crawfeldt

Open-minded, reserved, determined, empathetic, introspective, insecure, curious Diana's keen insight into the thoughts and feelings of those around her is both her greatest strength and her greatest weakness. As a naturally sympathetic human being, she struggles to accept that emotional attachments inevitably interfere with her ability to view situations objectively, and often result in feelings of betrayal or hurt. She has learned to keep her feelings to herself, sometimes so exclusively that she may give others the impression that she is emotionally detached and distant. However, underneath it all she remains a genuinely caring and compassionate person.

Diana Crawfeldt completed her first degree in Psychology, and had begun working on a second degree in Criminology when an ongoing dispute with one of the department's most distinguished professors led to her decision to drop out of university. In the months that followed, she was offered a chance to train at the ACME Academy. Thrilled at the prospect that she might finally make something of herself, she agreed. Diana is currently training to become an ACME informant. However, her education is not typical for that of an ACME recruit, as she possesses only a rudimentary knowledge of history and geography. Further evaluations and assessments regarding her placement within the agency have been postponed due to the recent crisis at ACME.

Gunnar

Gunnar is quiet and patient, very shy and tense. He tends to contain emotion. He is consistent in this reserved composure, but his protective and suspicious characteristics can be tapped, inciting defensive reactions attributed to traits of paranoia--typically edgy on subject of Russia. He displays a steadfast adherence to his own ideals and ethical principles. He is calculating and meticulous; regarded as an insightful individual. Socially, he is mannered and deflective, and does not show much appreciation for small talk.

He is logical and witty, yet not always reasonable. His humor is very dry and often sarcastic. His strong point is found in his loyalty. He exhibits a remarkably protective nature, bordering possessiveness with his wife. Gunnar loves children, and is considered a mentor to many local youth. He places high value in chivalry. He is proud of his Swedish heritage. Gunnar is compliant and follows his leaders and respects authority, so long as it does not interfere with what he believes to be a personal right.

Gunnar Jonas Svensson was born 9 January, 1989, in Karlstad, Sweden, to Josef and Brita Svensson. He has two older sisters, Märta and Kajsa. Svensson graduated from Swedish gymnasium in 2008, his last year studying at Stockholm's Idrottsgymnasiet to develop in his athletic endeavors. After a year's full focus on sprinting and working alongside his father as an auto mechanic, Svensson initiated his higher education at Universitet Karlstad. During this time, he became friends with his future wife, Gudrun Nygård. Over the course of summer 2010, Svensson competed in several Swedish and Norwegian track & field events. He was admitted to the Swedish team for the 2010 European Championships in Barcelona, where he collected a silver medal in the 100 meters event.

In October 2010, Svensson abruptly withdrew from the sports scene to move to Stockholm, where he became employed at ACME's local branch under Supervising Agent Annelien Bakkar. In Januray 2011, he transferred to ACME HQ, San Francisco, in order to complete his studies and agency training. At ACME Academy, Svensson studied to full capacity in his solitary lifestyle, keeping in track form in the middle of night. He graduated in 2012 from ACME Academy with a degree in International Relations. Svensson transferred back to ACME, Stockholm division immediately upon graduation and attained the rank of Investigator. He specialized as a guide and liaison to the Nordic regions while attempting to restart his track & field career.

He performed in Stockholm's and Zürich's Diamond League events, proposing to his girlfriend after the latter race. In January 2013, Svensson participated in the ACME raid on a terrorist base in Kamchatka after his fiancée was injured in the C-5 attack on Chase Devineaux's apartment. With the help of Daniel Ainsworth and Nevon Blair, he was able to capture one of the organization's leaders, Alfie Barber. Svensson retired from sprinting and re-transferred to San Francisco after marrying with Gudrun in 2013. They currently live on Russian Hill.

Rose Thorne

Because of events that took place at an impressionable age, Rose’s outlook on all things is very cynical. Though she had become a little less negative in her late teens, her time in the military undid what little progress had been made. The military molded Rose into a highly professional character which she stays true to, even in social environments. Thus, she tends to come across as very indifferent. She is inclined to distance herself and does well keeping strangers at bay. Although she is good at listening, they find her silence unnerving and sometimes sense a critical air about her.

If someone does manage to break through her emotional wall, one will find that she is a very faithful and incredibly patient friend. Her natural instinct is to keep to herself and spend her time researching and learning rather than socializing. Although that is her usual self, she sometimes will surprise people with a contrary warm civility or mischievousness. Her mood swings are not frequent but very drastic, leaving people wondering who she really is. She likes to argue a lot and is good at it. At the end of some fights, she may reveal that she actually shared her challenger’s opinion in the first place, but took the other side for the sake of an argument. She almost never gets angry, considering it a waste of energy.

When she is angered, however, her fury is almost incomparable. It is her usual procedure to go on physically expending runs in order to blow off steam. When it comes to working, she enjoys jobs that involve her being in the very middle of the action because she hates to wait helplessly on the side. She has a strong work ethic and admires others who share her diligence. She disdains those who show signs of indolence or complaining. She is very proud of the success she has attained in life through her strong will and determination.

Rose Abigail Thorn was born in Stadtlengsfeld, Germany, on December 11th, 1986. Although not much is known about it her early childhood, it seemed to have been a happy one. Following the tragic deaths of her parents when she was twelve years old, Rose was sent to live with her father’s sister in Oregon. Her aunt left the country only a few months later, abandoning her completely--possibly because she was pregnant. It was suspected that the pregnancy was caused by abuse. Rose was placed in foster care, and in late 1999, she gave birth and parted with the baby under closed adoption.

By her sixteenth birthday, Rose had been placed in four different foster homes. None of the families retained her because of some exaggerated problem attributed to Rose, who had made a name for herself as a troublemaker. In 2002, a woman named Edna Willis saved Rose from a life-threatening accident. She took care of the girl until her high school graduation in May 2003. Rose left Edna’s home in the summer to attend the United States Naval Academy. From 2003 until 2007, she studied and persevered at Annapolis. Throughout her time in college, Rose received numerous demerits and suspension warnings pertaining to her sub-standard physical condition. However, she managed to improve her physical fitness, and graduated in May 2007 with a degree in Naval Architecture. After her graduation, Rose went through specialized basic training courses.

In September, she was called for Individual Augmented Duty, and she was sent overseas to serve in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Riding in a Marine convoy from port to base, her unit was ambushed by al Qaeda forces. She reacted bravely and survived the attack despite attaining injuries, and later received the Navy Cross for her deeds. After returning from Iraq, she continued in her service as a recruiting officer in Seattle, Washington, until deemed fully recovered (November 2007 - May 2008). From May to June of the following year, she was a division officer on an aircraft carrier .

Then, from July of 2009 until January, 2009, Rose served as an aide to RDML Sean Rarus. Afterwards, she settled into a less combat-oriented environment, and worked as a naval architect until the end of her military career. In June of 2010, Rose went on a trip with her friend, Constance Kitlyn, to South America. During the trip, she found herself in a hostile situation and suffered a traumatic brain injury, causing temporary amnesia. Although she eventually recovered, she was medically discharged from the Navy with the title Lieutenant Jr. Grade. She had served seven years in the military. . In September 2010, she withdrew from social activity and attempted to get back on her feet. In February of 2011, she reluctantly joined the ranks of ACME Detective Agency.

Splam Oscar Sperdock

He likes being precise and he schedules most of his 'jobs'. He is neat and he tries to do things cleanly...but unfortunately everything He does, doesn't work out the way he plans it... He doesn't like to be humble, but he considers himself one of the worst thieves ever. He is kind to certain people (little kids mostly) and he hardly ever holds grudges...

Once upon a time there was born a boy whose parents named him Splam Sperdock...that was his downfall. Ask anyone with a strange name and you will find that a lonely road is all they ever have known.

His only sister and great friend was killed two years ago. Maybe that was why he joined VILE. Ever since that day he has been the guardian of Matthias, his now 5 year old nephew. He hasn't had a real successful career in that field, multiply times he has been put in jail. And just recently he has been released after spending a long, lonely year in jail, it also helped him look at his life in a different light.

Joe Kerr

Joe almost always wears a smile on his face but don't let his happy-go-lucky attitude fool you. Joe can be as cunning as a snake in the grass, or anywhere else for that matter. Joe has a personal attachment to games of all sorts and is always up for a laugh. Joe does however draw the line at murder and other equally heinous crimes he deems "unfunny". Joe's strength and weakness are one and the same - his unpredictability.

Joe's background is somewhat of an enigma. Joe credits an April Fool's prank involving pears going "pear-shaped" on him as the reason for his inability to recall anything before his 21st birthday. The only thing Joe is certain about as far as his childhood is concerned is that he was definitely the class clown.

After the accident, Joe seemed to have developed a certain moral flexibility and an insatiable urge to laugh at the strangest things. After several failed attempts in the comedy circuit and being rejected from the circus, Joe decided to try something different for a laugh. He turned his hand toward crimes and was inexplicably brilliant at them. Perhaps it was all those years of plotting the perfect pranks that prepared him to be a brilliant thief and trap maker. Joe (for reasons he doesn't know) is also an expert chemist. Unfortunately, his expertise is limited to laughing gas, tear gas, itching powder and the ocassional 'accidental' batch of TNT. Since Joe turned to crime, the police have not been laughing as they have had egg on their faces (literally and figuratively) one too many times.

To have a laugh at ACME's expense. (and maybe also at the expense of their expense accounts? Hyuk hyuk) Now THAT"S comedy!!! Hyuk hyuk!

While most of Joe's tools are non-lethal, they are a real pain in the you-know-what. His standard repertoire includes: Exploding whoopee cushions filled with either itching powder, laughing gas or tear gas, traps of various sorts and a modified hand buzzer capable of delivering a 'shocking' greeting. Joe's jester staff also has the ability to emit a smokescreen when needed. Lastly, Joe is always known to keep a trick or two up his sleeves...(when he wears them)

Anja

Anja is strange, but she is very very kind and excessively generous to everyone. She can become very excited and emotional. She likes to hug all nice people she meets. Overall, she just wants to love and be loved. She is rarely found without her twin sister Astrid. Anja likes to invent her own crazy fashions, and her wardrobe features a very unique collection. She gets very excited about music, and she is very fun to watch in performance. However, she becomes so immersed when playing music that she is loses awareness of her surroundings.

Anja grew up in a poor family with her identical twin, Astrid. Their father is a fisherman, who is usually gone trying to earn a living on the Arctic seas. Their mother had a very hard time taking care of the home, and the two daughters were often left to themselves. They did not have many friends, and developed a strong attachment to each other. They were always getting into trouble--and out of it--together. They have grown up to be very naive about some things. They still do not part easily. Anja plays the synthesizer with her twin in their music duo, Techno Tvillingene (or the Norske Techno Twins). She began performing with her sister, and they recently signed a record deal, which is rumored to have been negotiated by Carmen Sandiego. They have had many early successes.

Astrid

Outgoing, Funny, Courageous, Contagious, Strange, Spontaneous. She's very loyal to her family, especially to her sister. She gets enraged when someone slights her sister. She loves to sing and annoys people by singing a lot of the time, She tends to suddenly burst into a song.

Alex Holmes

Alex's personality is one for the record books. He is definitely his own one man rock band/demolition crew. However, as much as an individual he comes across, he is a team player. He always entrust himself to do the right things, not only for his team, but for the greater good.

Originally, an academic football star from the University of Arkansas, Alex Holmes left the team to pursue his true loves in life - Criminal Justice and Creative Writing. Being raised in a dangerous city, Alex learned that only does a person needs to be fast on his feet and have a quick wit as well.

His love of justice and writing come from his love of comic books and Japanese super heroes - most noticeably: Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. However, everything wasn't easy with the last name of Holmes and being in the direct bloodline of the great master detective, Sherlock Holmes. Early in life, he showed a talent for recollection and critical thinking. In his teenage years, he decided to hide these talents in order to fit in with his peers. It wasn't until he started playing American football in high school where these talents could no longer be hidden. Recognizing defensive patterns and schemes made Alex the perfect high school quarterback - leading and winning his high school to State Championships his Junior and Senior years.

It was after his first year of college football that Alex finally gave in and left the game for academics - excelling Creative Writing and Criminal Justice. A year later and before ACME, Alex received his Associates in Mechanical Engineering and went on to help in the family business outside of private investigation - Auto Repair and Customizations. He is now developing new engine technology with his father, a former Computer Technology wizard and present-day Mechanic that uses the plasma in the owner's blood to start a car, but also prevent theft .

Sadie is quite a friendly person, in some ways, quite a typical Kiwi! (Apart from the fact that she doesn't like pies! *gasp* Apart from mince and cheese ones..) She loves to make new friends (and solve mysteries, of course!) She is a very loyal person (So she would NEVER stray to VILE!) She will always stand by her friends, and will protect them in any way possible. She sometimes has trouble believing what people tell her, which means she always likes to get all the facts, before jumping to conclusions. She also loves to read, and she loves creative writing! She also likes to sing, but gets bad stage fright...

Sadie Georgia Verona Coleman was born on August 16, 1994 in Wellington Hospital, in Wellington, New Zealand. She had a very happy childhood, and went to a very good primary school, and a very good high school, until, soon after she turned 16, A person came to her house, and told her and her parents that the ACME detective agency wanted to recruit her! She was quite surprised at first, as she had always loved a good mystery, but had never expected to have the opportunity to be a proper detective! As soon as her parents gave permission, she said yes, and has now moved into the dorms at ACME in San Francisco, to be closer to HQ.

Élodie Delilah Sinead Nạsssār

Sinead is usually patient, diplomatic, calm, open minded, polite, and friendly (if a little distant perhaps). However, when she is with very close friends/ family (the few people she actually trusts) she can be exuberant, blunt and even slightly eccentric. She trained herself to use a British accent, since most people become confused when they hear her speak naturally, due to the cocktail of languages she speaks and cultures she has experienced. Is a disastrously terrible in the kitchen (too experimental and too easily distracted by world news). She does, however, enjoy the annual advent/Christmas baking (where it is essential that you follow a recipe).

She enjoys art, music and gardening (the latter hobby she fulfils at her coastal cottage in New Zealand, where one of her arty/eco-friendly neighbours over-waters her botanical family while she is working in Brussels, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Geneva, New York...

Raised among archaeologists, explorers, scientists and other academic riff-raff, Sinead was dragged through the world like a Gypsy child, only stopping for the teaching 'breaks' at prestigious Universities in the major cities of the world. Sinead is of French, Irish, Jewish and Arabian backgrounds. There was some disappointment amongst family and friends when Sinead decided to Study International relations, psychology and law ("how unadventurous and non-academic"!), but Sinead enjoyed every minute (except for the language courses she ended up dropping (largely not needed since she already speaks 9 fluently) ). Since completing her MA, she has worked for several think-tanks conducting research on the various conflict areas of the world. Before joining ACME she held an influential position in the UN.

Contessa

Ambitious, intelligent, and highly opportunistic, Contessa is often seen as reckless and unbearably haughty. She insists on being impeccably dressed, and is often obsessed with her own physical appearance. She enjoys the tango, javelin throwing, big game hunting, and big game hunting with a javelin.

Adrianna Covrenzi is the adopted child of Lord William Talvis IV (her biological uncle), a British lord of mixed Hungarian descent. He is best known for his contributions to the world as a naturalist, but was also rumored to be a descendant of Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed.

Much of Adrianna's childhood was spent travelling to exotic locations with her adopted father, and it was during these times that she developed a love for collecting artifacts - amongst other skills. When Adrianna was thirteen, a boating accident in the Amazon left her father unable to walk. Lord William returned to The United Kingdom and Adrianna was sent to Switzerland to attend boarding school and formal training in finishing school. She did not receive particularly high marks in any subject, but was often the star of athletic teams, most notably fencing and javelin throwing. In her last year of school, Lord William Talvis passed away, leaving her with a sizable inheritance. Adrianna never finished her studies, and at 21 married Counte Covrenzi, taking his name and title, as well as moving to his family home in Castello di Tenebra. Only two years later, the Counte passed away in an unfortunate sailing accident. Contessa was on vacation in Egypt at the time.

Adrianna spends much of her time tirelessly collecting items for her personal museum, and has come into contact with Carmen Sandiego many times in her pursuit of artifacts. They were never seen as friends before Adrianna became a member of V.I.L.E.

Elaine

Bubbly by nature Elaine has an optimistic outlook on life. But has a tendency to hide her real emotions behind her upbeat persona. Also Elaine refuses to fall into the stereotype of being a submissive Chinese-American woman. Hence she can be outspoken and articulate about her views, which gets her in trouble sometimes, typically with her parents. But she is still very diplomatic and open minded to others opinions.

Born and raised on the streets of Chinatown in San Francisco, California. Spent a lot of her time running around delivering Boba and other tea drinks courtesy of her parents’ teahouse on Kearny Street. After receiving her degree in International Studies and a minor in Sociology from the University of San Francisco she applied to ACME. Despite her desire to move away from her parents who still reside in Chinatown, Elaine finds it difficult to leave., especially after accepting her job at ACME.

Experience + Interned at the CIA San Francisco branch as an undergrad +Knows how make a mean Milk Tea and other various Boba drinks She is particularly interested in intelligence work and the study of social interaction. She can be seen usually walking around with her Nikon DSLR on her side for any opportunities to capture noteworthy moments. When she has time Elaine enjoys going to cultural festivals and events in the city when she is in town. Is also continuing her studies at ACME academy to obtain her PhD in International Relations.

Acton Roux

Acton is an educated man. He seeks knowledge. He can be found quite absorbed in his work, and he is very resolute when a decision has been made. Rarely does he change his mind. People find him strange or interesting, both things give him very few friends, yet he does get along all right with everyone. The doctor does not speak loudly against his enemies.

Here was a man from Paris, whose obsession with life and death gave him the determination to change the world. Acton Pierre Roux was the youngest son in a small Parisian family.

He lost his older brother to a war, and both his parents to lung cancer. His mother, passing away at 35, was a victim of his father's habits. Mr. Roux, senior, was 77 years old. A graduate of Falculte de Medecine from Universite Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC), young Acton spent 16 of his pre-adult years specializing in the fields of Aging and Longevity, and Neurosciences. Passionate in his work, he spent several years both during and after his internship studying the aging process and cancer cell growth among candidates in nursing homes (which happens to be quite illegal). His enthusiasm, unfortunately, led to the discovery of his endeavors by the public, and he was revoked of his license 12 years into his research.

Dr. Roux gained the nickname of "The Plague Doctor" for two reasons: The first is from the small collection of masks he keeps from the time of the Bubonic Plague. They are grim reminders of what one must bare for others to live. And the second is an unfounded rumor that he caused plague-like symptoms to his patients during his research while attempting to hinder death. After losing his license and cast out of a prestigious medical community, Acton Roux began to ponder his life's work of delaying aging. At one point, resolving to revenge, he dressed in a Plague Mask and black robe, wishing to use his expertise in Neurosciences to end lives instead. On his way to unleash his neurotoxin, the doctor witnessed an event where detectives from the Parisian sector of ACME Agency followed a woman in red. She was known to him as a figure of lore, Carmen Sandiego.

He followed the chase through the mazes of Paris. Feeling compelled to help a fellow outcast, the doctor readied to use his neurotoxins on the detectives should he find an opening. But yet as he watched Carmen Sandiego, he noticed that she had many chances to fatally inflict harm to her pursuers, but chose not to. The thief soon discovered an outlet and narrowly escaped. The woman's actions, more than her skills, made her impossible to capture. Given this renewed ideal, Acton returned to his flat and began a new quest that would lead him to cross paths with VILE. Dr. Acton Roux is now under VILE's employ.

Bran

Bran is slightly melancholy, a little laid back, gloomy, and very intelligent. Bran is very loyal to his friends and loved ones. Bran has been accused of having anger issues in the past. Indeed he can be ruthlessly violent if pressed to his limit. (While Bran's avatar is not an exact fit, it is the closest to his appearance at this time). .

Bran was born on February 2nd to extremely wealthy parents. His father, Ahriman Modarres, was persian and owned oil rights. His mother, Gwendolyn ferch Brymor, was the only child of welsh billionaire, Brynmor ap Dewydd. Their added fortunes resulted in Bran inheriting a sizable amount of money. His current cumulative wealth is estimated at 10.2 billion U.S. dollars.

When Bran was young, his father was murdered at a business conference in New York City. As Bran’s mother was often plagued by sickness, he was raised by Caerwyn ap Caledfryn who was a close friend of Ahriman. Bran attended the University of Cambridge and Harvard University where he studied music. While he obtained a degree in music, he became interested in biology, chemistry, and experimental physics and often read textbooks in these subjects for pleasure. Upon graduating, Bran bought and managed a musical recording company.

He became very successful in this venture and added to his increasingly large fortune. About this time, Bran vanished from the public eye for seven years. The reasons for this are unknown to much of the world. During this time, he spent months and years studying and researching experimental physics and how they can applied for practical uses. Recently, Bran has been spending large amounts of time in the San Francisco area working with ACME. The details of this are sketchy since Bran has, for the most part, avoided any media attention.

To become something my father would be proud of. I never drink coffee... Beth ydych chi'n ei ofni? "Fear controls the mind. The mind controls the body. Thus we must control fear"

Bran uses knowledge of psychology as a weapon against his foes. Bran is very proficient in many forms of martial arts. He has created a unique style of martial art fighting derived from conventional martial arts. His personal fighting style is known as "Ofn a phoen". Bran has also had great success in the field of inventing military technology, although he has never pursued this calling in the past.

Connie

Constance is a cheerful, sweet natured, excessively kind, optimistic, forgiving, truthful, and caring person. Connie is quiet but not really shy. She can be ecstatic at times. Constance may come across as clueless sometimes.

Constance Kitlyn was born in Paris, France, on March 16th, 1993. When Connie was age one, her mother passed away, and Connie was adopted by a pastor from the small American city of Nod. Following the adoption, Constance's life was "normal": she had a carefree childhood and she was able to pursue her interests. After finishing high school, Constance began her long quest to become a doctor, a quest she has not completed yet. (It's important to note that, while Constance's model has dark hair, Connie naturally has blonde hair.)

Deva Justice

Somewhat quiet but not shy. Intelligent. Passionate about the things she loves (art, biology, chemistry, judo, and catching bad guys), and also passionate about the things she doesn't like. Likes learning new things (decided to start learning more about computers and forensics after joining ACME).

Born in England to a mother from India who moved to England (Joshi) and an English (Anglo-Saxon English) father (Bonham). Family moved to the USA when Deva was 10, and have all become legal citizens. Mother still has slight Indian/English accent, father still has slight English accent, and Deva still has a slight accent that is mostly English but also a bit of her mother's Indian. Took up judo at age 15 (is thin/wiry/athletic).

Went to Kenyon College and double-majored in biology and chemistry (minored in studio art) and also continued doing judo there. "Deva (??? in Devanagari script) is the Sanskrit word for god or deity. In modern Hinduism, it can be loosely interpreted as any benevolent supernatural beings." (Wikipedia)

To catch Carmen Sandiego and do the best job at ACME she can, to become a doctor, to become the highest rank in judo, and to become a successful artist. To get better with/learn more about computers and forensics. Knows judo, also intelligent and has knowledge in biology and chemistry, and has also started learning about computers (is a natural) and forensics in her free time (that is, when not doing art).

Deva is a recent grad of Kenyon College (biology/chemistry double major with studio art minor) in the middle of nowhere, Ohio. After graduation, moved back home to the Washington DC area and is applying to med schools while working on art in her very little spare time. Has done judo since she was 15 and throughout college (is thin/wiry/athletic). Ever since joining ACME recently, has decided to start learning more about computers (is a natural) and forensics in her spare time that isn't taken up by art.

Marcus

Marcus is Very Nice, Intelligent and has a Calm Deminer when he's around his Fellow ACME Cohorts, and The Chief in fact he uses several Martial arts disciplines to be at peace and be calm (tho he can be a hot head sometimes). When On a Case, Marcus is in "Full Sentinel Mode" that Means he is focused on the case (may have a few laughs and makes jokes at times) but catching crooks is his main thing...and that's what he's good at. Xavier Thinks Marcus Can be a hot head and has no discipline or restraint when it comes to catching V.I.L.E agents, but he knows he will get better with time and hard work and changing himself at knows when it is time to watch, plan and act.

Marcus was once a Troubled kid, Tying to Struggle just to stay afloat . He was always getting in Trouble with the law and it looked like he was going down for good, til one day an ACME agent from the Alabama office came to see Marcus. He knew that Marcus had the skills, Talent and the know how to one day be a GREAT . So he Got him out of jail and Gave him a home with ACME, it was coming to fruition of what he said was true, Marcus had Quickly Risen to be the top of his class in the Academy and was Promoted to Junior Agent and was Assigned to work on more complex cases and was Praised by his Fellow agents. He now has the skills and Knowledge he had for catching crooks. One day,He got a Call from ACME's Main Office and they wanted Marcus to Join them in San Francisco to head up the agency's new Crime fighting team.

He wanted his friend and partner Xavier with him to set it up and they agreed. He got on the plane bound for California and when he got there ,he was Very Surprised at what he'd saw and wanted to soak up as much of the new experience as much as he could. he has risen to be ACME's Top agent and has Formed a Crime Fighting team With his Long time Friend/Partner and confidant Xavier "OOKAMI" Musashi,to restore order and Take down V.I.L.E for good. Xavier

Xavier is calm, cool, highly intelligent with a sharp but warped sense of humor, but he's also very private. With all those incredible traits Xavier remains clueless when it comes to women who are interested in him, but he's full of advice when helping others with matters of the heart which ends in success for them. He's considered to be scary and insane by his close friends at ACME because he went ballistic when he saw a child being harmed. It took 5 tranquilizers and 7 agents to detain him. Though they did suffer broken bones and some minor bruises.

Xavier is an African-American/Japanese born into a prominent military family and is a master of Kendo and Judo. A brilliant student Xavier graduated from WestPoint at the top of his class which he went on to finish Med school at Howard University and practiced medicine as a talented surgeon in the United States Army Elite Medical Corp Unit Scalpel 75. Xavier was approached by ACME when Rogue Agent Carmen Sandiego attempted to steal his families ancestral Katana "Tengoku No Okami Kiba" thanks to his keen intellect she was thwarted.

Xavier turned ACME down until an incident where he knocked his commanding officer out cold for refusing to treat an injured child who was in an enemy village during a mercy mission. Xavier was put in the stockade after the mission his commanding officer lied on him about the mission saying he refused to obey orders. Disgusted Xavier joined ACME where he worked as Field agent and loaned his medical expertise to treat injured ACME agents. Xavier still holds his rank as a Captain in the Army, but his primary job now is assisting ACME agents in their pursuit to capture Carmen Sandiego.

Also ACME agent Sierra Knight seems to have an affect on him because he tends to run away from her when she gets too close. Sources say that this is because she's able to get him to open up about his private life which he rarely talks about even though he does share information about himself that he deems necessary. It once slipped out that Sierra is a childhood friend of Xavier's and that his first kiss was her, but that's on speculation since an ACME recruit who was in the infirmary for injuries said he had over heard Sierra and Xavier talking about it in terms of endearment where he called her Hime which is Japanese for princess and she referred to him as Ookami-Kun.

Xavier is one of the most guarded agents at ACME and only a few are privy to even knowing him well enough to say they're friends. His partner Marcus Sanders really think he's a lunatic with a heart of gold. Though Marcus said sparring with Xavier is worst than taking fire from V.I.L.E. Agents, but it does make you a better fighter when stomping on the opposition. Marcus said he credits that to the Musashi Clans training which he got to witness first hand but was sworn to silence about it.

The only thing Marcus could say to anyone was what he saw Xavier go through and the things he did while he was sparring with his father who is the current head of the Musashi Clan would make Superman look like Lois Lane and what made it worse was when Xavier was bloodied up he was laughing before he passed out but Sierra was there visiting and she explained to Marcus that this was normal to them and the Musashi Clan considered that to be light training considering how brutal the advance training the clan teaches its members.

Xaviers father Takeshi showed Marcus some of the clans techniques and gave him his promotion to 4th Dan in Judo because Musashi Clan techniques are hard to master even in the basic form. Marcus said he couldn't believe Xavier had been training like that all his life and he's glad it wasn't him. Besides Sierra Knight there is no one else Xavier lets in that close. Even the Chief once said "Xavier is like a book that no one can fully comprehend, but its fun trying to read him". Eventually Xavier hopes to get over his fear of agent Sierra Knight and ask her out on a date and he wants to raise another wolf cub so he can have another hunting companion.

Bethany Damion Ghost

Often known as happy go lucky with stubborn streak. Forget trying to argue because it's quite pointless. She's often in trouble for that flaw. Occasionally a Stepney accent will come out while she's bored or in a hurry.

Parents wanted a boy and she always went by her middle name because of that. Directly out of high school she spent three and a half years in flight training. Ended up second in class and she started going by "Bethy". Traveling was very normal as she's lived all over the world. Of course home will always be in her birthplace of Arizona or the streets of England. If you ever need somebody to show you around those places then she's the gal you want as a guide. A couple of years in combat training with specialization in guns ended when she wanted to become an ACME agent.

Jillian Natalie Blaze

She is always described as kindhearted and caring towards her friends and the others around her. When she sets her mind to something she is stubborn and will get it done despite what will happen it is very hard to persuade her to do else. Despite her kind personality there are very few things that do get her upset but takes alot for it to happen. One thing about Jill she always had ever since she was little was a photographic memory something both her mother and father do not have. With Jill she is not the type of person to brag about what she has and where she came from. As well she is one who conceals her true feelings from everyone.

Born in Miami Florida, Jill is the daughter to American wrestling star Terry "Thunder" Blaze, and a Cuban mother named Lisa. When Jill was three, her mother passed away from leukemia ,so Terry cared for his little girl by himself, Wanting her to follow in his footsteps to be a Pro Wrestler instead he took his Wife's dying wish for Jillian to study in school and go to collage. In Which Jillian did through tutors and home schooling through traveling with her father state to state and Internationally with his Pro Wrestling matches. Jill at the Age of sixteen Graduated High School level courses and took online collage courses and earned her associates degree at the age of eighteen . From there she decided to take the A.C.M.E. exam at the age of eighteen to become a Agent. After Passing the Exam. Jill's father Terry and the rest of the Pro-Wrestlers who compete with him were all proud of "Baby Jill" and what she accomplished. Even though She is not a Pro-Wrestler like her Father he could not be more proud of his "Little Girl"

Gudrun

Gudrun is an enthusiastic and very amiable girl. She speaks timidly, but almost always has something pleasant and exciting to say to someone. She always seems to know how to fill a conversation, and yet she is not one to be overwhelmingly vocal. She often will pretend to know about something she does not know of to avoid seeming ignorant. She is bold and does not care much for what other people think of her, but she is not brash and obnoxious. She speaks English very fluidly, but her vocabulary is quite limited and she sounds childish when using the language.

Gudrun has a soft, subtle, and beautiful singing voice, and she usually hums or softly sings as she is unoccupied with her job. She is creative and likes to write short stories and songs in her free time.

Gudrun Svea Nygård was born 24 November, 1989, in Trollhätan, landskapet Västergötland, Sweden, at [then-brand new] Norra Älvsborgs Länssjukhus. Her father is Swedish, and her mother is Italian. She is her parents’ only child. Gudrun’s father moved the family to Karlstad in 2000 to find a new job. Gudrun works at a bookstore in Karlstad (Bokia, Lars Hjalmars Bokhandel AB).

Sammy

She tends to think of herself as cool and always likes to have fun when she's not in the way of work. She's a very competitive person and will not back down against (almost) nothing. She hates cars, so it is suggested that you never offer her a ride in your car. This is a fear accumulated after the last car that she rode in was bombed.

At the age of sixteen, when her parents were murdered, Sammy went through a complete life change. Her older brother Shark (nickname by which he goes), at the age of eighteen, became legal guardian of Sammy. Yet, he still treated her like a sister and his best friend. He was there when she needed him most, and went through everything with her (including college).

Sammy was one of the best shots on the police force in Ontario, Canada, (after graduating from the Canadian Police College, at the age of twenty, with her brother) where she served as the Chief of Police for a year and a half. She then enlisted into the military and became one of the best snipers in the military. She toured South Africa, Asia, and other places while in the military for 200 days. On her 201st day, Sammy and ten fellow Company 206 recruits were hit in-route to a mission. Two died, the rest were severely injured and taken to hospitals. Sammy's forehead was completely burned and she was in the hospital for little over four months with (mostly plastic) surgeries and physical therapy.

Her forehead is now hiden by long bangs for fear of people seeing what it has come to. After recovering from her wounds for the most part, and making sure that the rest of her Company was well off, Sammy decided to pursue another kind of law enforcement that would be easier on herself and would hopefully help with the trauma. So, she joined ACME. She is now in the process of building up her status here at the ACME headquarters in San Francisco. Her process may be going slow, but you know that you've gotta take one step at a time. She speaks French, a little Afrikaan, and English and others that aren't mentioned. Sammy lives with her brother (now Chief of Police in Ontario, Canada). At least until she moves into the ACME dorms.

Kyle Blackwood

He used to live a sheltered life. Knowing that, he knew it can't stay that way forever. A determined and passionate individual with a drive that when he sticks his mind to it, he can get a ton of things done. Though there are times he can have a laid back attitude.

His family moved from Seattle and found a home in Oregon shortly after he was born. Having seen all three Indiana Jones movies (except the fourth), Kyle have dreamed of being like his hero. From there, he wanted to become just that--an Archeologist. Having graduated in Yale, he was fortunate enough to appeal to one of his professors who offered him a internship in Egypt's Museum of Antiquities. He's fluent in several languages. from English to Chinese. He's also efficient in Tai chi and Arnis. He also has trained knowledge in Translating hieroglyphics, and old norse.

Jade

Jade is smart, pretty and have a good sense of humor. She can so stubborn and has a bad temper.

Jade Ezell was born on March 6, 1982 in Hawaii...she came to mainland at age 4 while her father was in the Navy....she met Carmen Sandiego at age 7. After her father was discharge from the Navy and Carmen quit ACME and turn into a criminal...the family (which included her mother and a younger brother) moved to Tennessee...and then at age 12 she met and have a little crush on Lee Jordan while searching for new recruiting ACME agents she tried out she was good but never make the cut because after talking to her teacher and her parents told Lee that she has borderline autism since she was born....still she wanted to help ACME by using the skills of a athlete, spying, math and learning herself some detective skills after all she is a free agent.

Jade's favorite subject while at school is Geography. Her favorite foods are anything ethnic(whether its Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, etc.). her hobbies are thrift shopping, reading, creative writing and making beaded jewelry at her home for her friends. She is a cat person that's why her best purrfect friend is Sam, a male brownish-gray shorthaired nonpedigree mackerel tabby and her favorite sport is bowling. Jade can speak Spanish but she learning herself French and a hint of Japanese still she learning different languages expect ones that is hard to pronounce very good.

Jade's goals are to be not completive against everybody, being patient with others, and get along with everyone without being in trouble or being so dramatic all the time.

Jade uses her padphone to send in information, pictures via e-mail, translated clues in a different language and the GPS button is in fact the C-5 to the scene of the crime or to ACME Headquarters for a brief mission within a radius to maximum in a matter of minutes or maybe even within 30 seconds not bad for a free agent with a cat at her side.

Nace Bilby

Introverted, serious, and well read Nace is a loyal deep thinker. Trained as a sniper in the South African and later British Armies he has tremendous skill in observation, sniping, and concealment.

Nace Bilby was born in Johannesberg, South Africa, the son of South African Special Forces soldier and an Obstetrician, the second of five children. He first joined the South African Army at seventeen and after two years attempted Selection for the South African Special Forces Brigade. After collapsing on an endurance march he was removed from training. After two years of further service he applied for and was accepted by ACME. After two years at the Johannesberg branch he moved to the London Branch. Whilst in London he applied to join a unit of the British Territorial Army, 21 Special Air Service. After Selection and further training he deployed to Iraq and later Afghanistan before he returned to London.

D. Coda

Coda is a worrier. He often feels like the whole world is out to get him. This has lead him to develop a somewhat skeptical and cynical personality that tends to drive others away. But he is also unusually loyal to anyone who can prove that they are his friends.

Devin has always been someone who values his privacy. At a young age he began to be obsessed with codes and ciphers, as most boys are.

But when he received a decoder ring in the mail (after sending ten box tops with five dollars and waiting six to eight weeks) he took it to a new level. He began to encode everything, from his journal right down to his math homework. Devin has gotten more and more paranoid the more he learns about how messages can be hidden in everyday life. Sometimes, though, his paranoia might lead him to see things that aren't there. For example he wanted to join ACME because when he decoded his morning news paper it said "GER-JERN-ACME". Reading to much into things? Maybe. Or maybe that's just what they want you to think.

Devin wishes to crack the uncrackable ciphers and solve the unsolvable riddles. But he also just wants to live a quite life without any insidious shadow organization looking over his shoulder.

Towers

Towers is no nonsense and committed to his tasks at hand. Everything he does is precise to the second as well. He has a stark obsession with watches and clocks that will at rare times interrupt his current object of focus. In his travels, Towers always looks for an opportunity to steal a particularly nice watch or clock of some kind, deeming them artifacts of the highest caliber.

Born to a mother and father who were agents themselves for other organizations, Towers grew attracted to the lifestyle, and immediately asked to join them.

Unfortunately, they deemed him too young at the time, and refused to teach him their profession, leaving him somewhat depressed over the issue, and his dreams left him. However several months later, when he read about the exploits of one Carmen Sandiego, he regained inspiration, and taught himself the tricks of the trade. By waging war on his own parents as an anonymous figure, he learned from them without their own realization, leading to him becoming a refined agent. With this training under his belt, he took up the masquerade of a free agent. Still remembering his role model, the one called Carmen Sandiego, he has begun to seek her out, wishing to work with her as opposed to against her.

Invader

Quiet but not shy , however tends to scare people when yelling. A bibliophile with aspergers syndrome. Has the age of an adult but the emotional state of a kid. Has a very nasty temper when provoked but gets remorseful for doing so. Carries a grim/twisted sense of humor. Loves to pull pranks, this is their way of showing affection. The bigger the prank the more they like you. Loves books, video games, and records.. Is a big cinema fan loves everything from silent to sound to modern movie eras. However is a huge horror film fan and loves to watch them late at night usually between midnight and 4 AM (she finds that they help with the nightmares.)

Tends to be a bit defensive when first meeting someone but when they know you mean no harm they open up. If you befriend them they become quite talkative and can be very energetic at times. Is sometimes in a world of her own when stressed and becomes so withdrawn in it no one can reach her nor enter it unless she lets you. Hates dressing up or being fussed over to the extreme. When very tired she sometimes goes off on random tangents or her mind gives her incoherent reminders. Is greatly mentally scared from 13 years of torment at the mysterious place known as other world. Occasionally has flashbacks and sometimes even off days. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for the triggers. She is rather starved for affection and comfort.

A person sent from another space and time, to locate a girl codenamed Julia.Invader is from another dimension, and hails from a world called everdream. Invader was sent to right a wrong that would have ripped apart Julia's world. It would have upset the very existence of a few worlds nearby as well. Invader was only supposed to locate her and send Julia home. Unfortunately she arrived late, but sent Julia home anyway. This came at the cost of being trapped in this world. All of her powers have been neutralized, at this point. As a result of the delay invader was captured and forced to live what Julia went through. This has left invader with memory loss, severe mental scars, and a few physical ones. She can only reach her home world through dreams. Memories of her old life, and who she really is do come and go though. Perhaps one day she can return home, only time will tell.

Evegeni

A little tricky, a little shady, a little brilliant, a little crazy. Evgeni is a survival expert and really well-versed socially, though he sometimes smells like wolf. He knows a magic card trick or five. The casino guys in Odessa weren't too fond of that.

In 1987, in the Siberian town of Krasnoyarsk, a rather attractive little runt was born, named Evgeni Gavriilovich Morozov. His first Christmas present was a Mosin–Nagant 1944 rifle, and he has slept with it for years. This is one of many reasons he is not yet married, because he's slightly awesome in a Russian way.

He is at home throughout the world, but the world is hardly a home for him. Specifically, he has a record for getting kicked out of clubs. Once, when he was 21, he was bounced from 15 in one day. Starving for some excitement he hadn't previously encountered, he joined ACME Detective Agency to pursue the endless challenge of capturing the most red personality known to the world. At 26 years old, he is just beginning to shave.

Mari Swift

Mari is a compassionate person who has acquired a detachment towards possessions and people over the years. Belonging to no political affiliation, she finds having the capacity to redistribute the world's resources as she sees fit to be increasingly palatable as she uses her skills in this direction...

Marianne Elena Swift, child of a successful British entrepreneur and Danish schoolteacher, was born on September 13th in 1980. Following a divorce in 1982, Mari's mother relocated her and her older sister, Tabithe, to Seattle to start anew.

Although the new single-parent life in Belltown was notably humbler (a fact that often upset Tabithe, who went on to move back in with their father), Mari enjoyed her quiet surroundings in what was, in the 1980's, a small waterfront city. Mari was well-prepared for her adult life by a childhood replete with polarities: her parents' disparate socioeconomic states exposed her to both affluence and struggle. Although adults often noted her intelligence and creativity, she was widely regarded as a poor student by teachers, mainly because of her lack of interest in classwork and an awkwardness that is the occasional result of a predilection for solitude. When visiting her father, she was one of six siblings (and half-siblings) playing merrily together before returning to her life as an only child with her mother. These variegated experiences gave her a sense of comfort with duality.

After an uneventful time at university, Mari started a career as a business strategist that proved lucrative but unsatisfying. She did notice that she found a certain pleasure in observing the effect of business's unstable medium on society; the persistent upward gaze of the have-nots and the oft- paranoid eyes of the haves. Eventually the sirensong of power lured Mari into becoming an active participant in building on the uncertainty. It began with small manipulations in high finance, while she continued her esteemed role in business. Then, she found the perfect portal into direct theft that would adequately shake things up...except that a mysterious person had already beaten her to it.

Not particularly interested in the acquisition of goods herself, Mari aims to serve V.I.L.E. to the best of her capacity for two reasons: her love of maintaining a sharply contrasted double life and also her belief that occasional economic cataclysm is a necessary occurrence for the world's checks and balances.

Years of studying MMA and texts in Stoic philosophy are Mari's favorite tools. However, access to insider information that her work allots her has proven very handy, along with her rudimentary dabbling in learning about the intrusive arts of lock-picking and hacking. Also, she has been known to frequent the shooting range, just in case.

Sara Bellum

Sara Bellum acts and carries herself as the very epitome of a mad scientist. She is always in motion, carrying on to the end of her latest project with wild abandon. She either speaks very quickly or very forcefully, rarely engaging in calm conversation. She has been known to give in to maniacal laughter and to talk to herself when thinking something through. Aside from her brief episode, she seems stubbornly devoted to Carmen and her cause, though her motives are unclear.

Little is truly known about Sara Bellum before her college days.

There are immigration documents, pointing to the fact that she is a Ukrainian immigrant who went first to San Francisco, and then went to study in the United Kingdom at the University of Cambridge after earning a full-ride scholarship. There she excelled in her studies, achieving 3 doctorates over the course of her stay there. The first was in Mechanical Engineering, then Electrical Engineering, and finally in Physics. She also became well-versed in many other sciences, most notably aeronautics and the quantum sciences. During a summer hiatus in her second doctorate she returned to San Francisco, and there, one warm summer's eve at an open-air concert, Sara first met Carmen Sandiego.

None but Sara know why she struck up a friendly conversation with her that night, but by the end of it the two were friendly acquaintances, trading numbers in case they should be in each other's area again. This was back in Carmen's ACME days, so she didn't have as much need to be secretive. At Cambridge she seemed to grow very interested in the ACME Detective Agency, and as she was getting ready to finalize her third doctorate, it seemed as if she would offer her services to them as a mechanic and inventor. However, that was when Carmen made her decision to turn to a life of crime. It can be assumed that Sara contacted her soon afterwards, as she became a VILE recruit immediately after her final graduation.

It's unclear why she seemed so set on following Carmen, and rumors abound as to her motive, but no one seems fully sure, perhaps not even Carmen herself. Sara spent a couple years providing VILE with high-tech gadget after high-tech gadget, and life seemed to be good for her. Then, after a secret conversation between her and Carmen and which only a few witnessed and none but those two know the true content of, everything shifted. Sara grew restless, angry, and soon it boiled over. She kidnapped Carmen and disguised herself as VILE's leader, attempting to pull off a grand heist and cement herself as the new leader of VILE. Carmen, together with Ivy and Zach Monaghan, thwarted her and Carmen left her to be captured.

VILE's lawyers bailed Sara Bellum out a few days later, much to everyone's surprise, and Sara was last seen being driven away. She's dropped off the radar since then, but new rumors are surfacing that she's never left Carmen's employ, and has spent the intervening years working on a new and grand project for VILE that is nearing completion. What lies in store for her, VILE, Carmen, and ACME? Only time will tell.

According to her, to make VILE succeed however Carmen wants it to succeed, and to give them every bit of technological advantage to make that possible.

Jason Iron

Although he looks gruff, Iron is extremely sensitive and may sometimes appear to be a slow thinker. Jason has a pet Chameleon named Argo that he keeps in his jacket pocket, and whom he seems to have coherent conversations with. Argo has also been known to attack people on intervals, always going for the eyes.

Jason Iron was born and raised in New Orleans. He started life in foster care and by age twelve became affiliated with the local drug trafficking gang. Tired of the violence and inability to progress up the criminal hierarchy, he ran away to join the United States Navy as soon as he was old enough to enlist.

Unused to strict regimens or being told what to do in any way shape or form, Iron found the system extremely difficult and struggled with his commanding officers. An altercation with his peers led to his inevitable dishonorable discharge. Without work, Iron came back to his home town and met the leader of a small group of thieves who specialized in auto and jewelery heists. It was during this time that he heard of V.I.L.E. and their capers throughout the world. Iron and his then partner secured a meeting with a V.I.L.E. recruiter, before things took a turn for the worst. In August of 2004, a hurricane would dismantle his group and many of the other city gang's strongholds. Jason was left to fend for himself once again and has drifted from organization to organization around the country to make ends meet. Aside from criminal activities he also worked for a famous hot cross bun stand at a city petting zoo.

Springheeled Jack

Johnathan Nimble has a quiet, polite personality, perhaps to a fault. In his youth he had been vivacious and outgoing, but ever since the accident that crippled him he had seemed to draw into himself. When people meet him for the first time, they are almost always left with the impression of emptiness, that although he has a pleasant demeanor and a deep calm, that he has nothing within him. His few remaining friends worry that their friend died inside due to the loss of his dream and then his parents, but they are careful never to discuss it. It wouldn't be proper.

"Spring-Heeled Jack, master acrobat and thief extraordinaire," as he has been known to introduce himself, is just as extravagant as the introduction would lead one to believe. He takes great pleasure in mocking those that seek to capture him, often leaving clues in the form of limericks before committing a crime. He got the idea from rumors about how a woman he secretly greatly admires, Carmen Sandiego, is supposed to sometimes work. His reasoning is that he will never be caught by those whom are inferior to him, which in his mind includes nearly everyone, and if anyone ever does because of his clues, then he deserves to be caught. He loves to be noticed and will flirt, entertain, and generally be overdramtic every chance he gets. However, when it is time to be serious, he can become deathly calm in an instant, and it is then that he can be truly terrifying to behold, reminiscient of the demon the legends claim Spring-Heeled Jack to be.

Johnathan Bartholomew Nimble was born to Jacob and Eva Nimble, wealthy residents of the Notting Hill area of London on March 11th, 1990. Growing up he had every privilege that his parents could bestow upon him. Private tutors, fine clothes, grounds filled with places for a boy to play. However, his parents, and his father especially, drilled into him a strong sense of self-reliance and drive to accomplish. When he was four he showed great enjoyment in pushing his body to the limit, much like his father, climbing anything he could and teaching himself how to handstand and cartwheel. His parents enrolled him in classes at the most prestigious gymnastics academy they could find, and young Johnathan excelled. As he grew older, he also displayed a natural aptitude with working with machines, and combined with his natural curiosity this led him to disassemble many devices around the house, just to see how they worked. He watched his father build a car when he was 6, and by 9 he was helping him build a second.

Life was good for JB Nimble. His parents loved him, he had money, and his gymnast's physique and bright mind meant that he had no shortage of female attention once he was old enough to desire it. His father was especially proud of him, telling him every day to never forget that he was special, that he was better than so many of the common folk, and that he deserved all of his good fortune. As the 2008 olympics appraoched, JB was hand-selected by his coach to try out for Great Britain's gymnastics team. He gained his spot easily, and so the training began. He worked harder than he ever had, rapidly gaining notice as the rookie rising star on the team. Then, only 3 weeks before the Olympics, one of the team's uneven bars broke as he swung to it, causing him to fly off and land at a very bad angle. Everyone in the gym heard the pair of cracks, the first from the bar and the second from JB's right leg snapping in two different places and destroying his knee simultaneously.

JB was rushed to the hospital, delerious with pain and loss of blood, as one of the breaks had ripped through his skin. The doctors worked as feverishly as they could, and while they managed to more or less restore his leg's functionality, he would never have full use of it again. He would have to walk with a leg brace or a crutch to help support the weight, and would be confined to a wheelchair if he was looking to avoid pain. This event shattered JB's worldview. No longer was he able to do anything he set his mind to. No longer was everything within his reach. He was broken, useless in his mind. He became a shut-in, letting his bitterness at the world consume his mind and soul. He noticed now how his mother sometimes seemed to treat him more as an investment than as her son. He noticed how his father went away often on "business trips" but his stories about who he was working for and where he was never quite matched the evidence. The world was darker for JB Nimble now, much darker.

4 months after the tragedy, his father left on a business trip. This one was different, though, for his father would never return from this one. Two days after he left, JB answered a phone call, and by the time he had hung up, he had grown cold inside. His father had been found dead in a Paris alleyway, in what appeared to be a mugging gone wrong. He had been beaten to the point of being nearly unrecognizable, but they had managed to match his fingerprints with a local security company's records. He informed his mother, and, true to her form, she began planning out how they were going to make sure that they had enough money to live on for as long as possible. He sickened her. He never saw how she broke down and wailed after he had wheeled out of the house. The next day, a package arrived in the mail for JB, addressed to him from his now-deceased father.

Opening it, he found inside a pair of boots connected with full leg frame braces, a strange contraption almost looking like a small scuba air tank pair, and a pair of strange, almost comical, red-tinted goggles, all connected via wires and tubes. Inside there was also a notebook, seemingly almost a century old, and a note stuck inside its front cover written by his father. It detailed how, for a century and a half, their family had been the one known as Spring-Heeled Jack, how they had stolen the vast majority of their fortune over their history, and how it was their right to do so, as they were the ones truly deserving of it. The note also explained how the notebook detailed all changes and additions made to the initial apparatus over time, and how he had recently upgraded the leg braces to make them more slender, more efficient, and able to fully support his son's injured leg. The note wrapped up saying that he believed he had finally been connected to Spring-Heeled Jack by the French police, and thought he was being followed by a vigilante group within their ranks.

"So I will face them as myself, as your father, and pass the legacy of our family on to you, my son. I have always been proud of you, and I have utmost faith in you. Make your mark on this world, and, if you can, make these bastard frogs pay." With that, the ice in Johnathan's heart evaporated, replaced by the searing heat of rage and a hatred of the world that had taken everything he deserved away from him. He immediately strapped himself in to the Spring Heel device and began to learn its use. Weeks turned into months of practice. His mother withered away and eventually became ill, perishing on the one year anniversary of his father's death. JB barely noticed. It was just another in a long list of injustices this world had heaped upon him.

He continued to work feverishly, desperate to become a master of the device and of himself once more. His olympic training seemed like a stroll in the park compared to what he did now. As the years passed, he became more capable than he had ever been. His mechanical knowledge increased greatly thanks to the research he put in figuring out every inch of the device as well as ways he could possibly improve upon it. His nightvision became more acute and his senses became sharper as he trained them, knowing that his would be a battle fought in darkness. Finally, only a few weeks after his 23rd birthday, he deemed himself ready to face the world, not as Johnathan Bartolomew Nimble, but as Spring-Heeled Jack, infamous criminal.

Johnathan has a simple goal: to get what he is due, and punish those who don't deserve what they have. Unfortunately for humanity, he believes he is due quite a lot, and most people are inferior to him, so don't deserve anything as much as he does. He desires to rise to prominence in the criminal world, making the legend of Spring-Heeled Jack household fare, and a name that would live on throughout history to generate feelings of awe and fear. It's been a few years but I'm back And my heart is now frozen and black My revenge I shall take On the weak and the fake So beware now of Spring-Heeled Jack

The "Spring Heel Device": A small backpack-like contraption, connected to a modified set of footwear by a few slender but sturdy tubes which are suitable for highly pressurized gas. The footwear is, in fact, a pair of boots, but are disguised so as to appear as formal dress shoes.

The higher boot is hidden by pant legs or false socks. These boots are in turn connected to complicated leg braces that have small pneumatic pistions to help cushion impacts. A couple fireproof tubes exist at shoulder level, meant to be woven through clothing and out of lapels, and a set of electrical wires attach to thin metal gloves as well as to ruby-red goggles. The gloves, usually covered by white formal gloves, control the device, as touching different combinations of fingers together complete circuits that control the pressure of the gas used in making boosted jumps, as well as the release of the chemicals out of the jacket lapels. The chemical mists disperesed combine approximately one quarter of a meter or about eight inches in front of Jack's face to ignite in a bright blue-white fire, used for distractions. The goggles glow an eerie red when activated, thanks to the simple filament that runs through the edges and is covered from outside view by a simple black coating. These goggles serve as a light source while not causing night-blindness if removed.

Henry Walton "Indiana" Jones Junior

Laid back and straight forward. Kind of silly, but not that much. I enjoy nature, and peaceful days. Talking to my friends such as Sallah, Short Round, and Marcus is nice as well. Though if something is wrong, or if I need something for my work, I am determined to get it, no matter what. I love women, but I can't seem to hold on to just one for more than a year.

I am Indiana Jones. I work at Marshall College in Bedford, CT as a Professional Archaeologist. I search for lost relics, treasures, and other mysterious artifacts across the Earth for the college and museum. I am skilled with a whip, gun, fist, and my noggin (not that most people these days use em).

My mother died when I was thirteen, and my father is finally becoming less of a workaholic. I have been through stuff you wouldn't wanna see, and have seen things that you wouldn't believe me, even if I told you. I used to date Carmen when we were in college together, and I will be working for VILE just to think what she thinks of me as of now. I did something bad to her, I won't say what it is, but. I at least need to earn her forgiveness. Cause I do love her. Still.

Tex River Holdum

"Tex? He's a good guy," is one of the most common phrases you'd ever hear about him. He's nice, likable, funny, and has a great deal of western charm about him. He's still sometimes the life of the party, and always enjoys chatting with folks. He also loves flirting with women, but though he enjoys the occasional roll in the hay, he's never looking for anything serious.

Tex Holdum was born to a Texan family with an unfortunate combination of that last name and a love of puns, and so he got saddled with the expectation of being a great poker player right out of the womb.

Though he did develop a great love of cards, he ended up being only a mediocre player, preferring instead to learn sleight of hand and how to toss them. What Tex developed a true passion for was justice. He was raised on classic Western reruns and new shows like Walker, Texas Ranger, and was determined to grow up and spend his life corralling criminals. He learned all he could, even asking his Native American grandfather for help learning how to hunt and track in the prairie wilderness. Training in boxing and a high school spent on the championship wrestling team honed his body well, and weekends with his dad at the shooting range made him grow up into a crack shot with both a rifle and a pistol.

Tex trained all his life, and when an opening appeared in the Texas Rangers, he applied in a heartbeat and got accepted a few days later. Tex was known as the hotshot rookie, even after he'd been in the Rangers for a couple years. He was always the one laughing loudest, telling the raunchiest stories, and jumping at the toughest cases. Still, the others loved having him around because he was just a likable guy, making friends easily and entertaining people with his card tricks. His partner, Clive Rodgers, was also always there to keep him reined in from being too impulsive. They cracked quite a few cases together, and Tex was becoming a rising star in the Rangers. It had started out as a routine track and capture of an escaped criminal, and an easy one at that. They'd followed tips and come across him hiding in a warehouse. Ace rushed in, eager to make the capture, but hadn't counted on their fugitive having some friends.

A bullet caught him dead in the chest, sending him flying backward. As gunfire erupted around him, he found himself wondering what the point of it all had been. All the bluster, all the crazy antics, the drive to land this case overriding caution...all for nothing. Then he could breathe again. The bullet had slammed into the pack of cards he had in his breast pocket, knocking the wind out of him. Struggling to his knees, he pulled his revolver only to realize the gun battle was done. All three suspects were dead, and Clive was breathing his last not ten feet away. Crawling over to him, Tex held his partner in his arms as he gasped and bled. No heroic last words, no peaceful repose. Only pain and fear were in his friend's eyes, and then nothing.

It was later discovered that the bullet had stopped on the ace of spades, and thusly his new nickname became Ace, but he did not enjoy it as he once would have. The incident had changed him, brought him back down to earth and made him a much more responsible and focused person. Unfortunately, it had also left him with a deep hatred of the idea of using firearms in the line of duty and too many memories. After a few months, he resigned his position in the Rangers and transferred to ACME, where he had heard that gunfights were much less common.

His goal, quite simply, is to do good as best he can. He is good at catching crooks, so that is what he will do until he runs out of crooks to catch. He wouldn't mind working in a more supervisory role someday, either, but swears up and down that he'll never become a desk jockey. "Just be thankful it's the 21st century, kid. You don't want to know how thieves were treated in the West back in the day. No sir."

6-shot revolver and lever-action rifle, both of which he's sworn to never fire at a live target again. A lasso, which he is moderately skilled with, but mainly keeps around in case he needs rope. Many decks of playing cards, some of which are now converted to be crimefighting tools by some chemist friends of his. He has a pack of weighted metal throwing cards, a pack of cards slick with industrial lubrication that can be thrown to make an oil slick, and a couple trick packs that have a polymer that reacts to air, being at first sticky then hardening, meaning a pack can be used as a close-range entanglement and capture tool.

Scarlet

Scarlet is mysterious and hard to get to know at first, but once she warms up to you she is much more sociable. She prefers to work alone, but is willing to work with other gumshoes and agents when necessary.

Scarlet grew up in a small town, longing for something more. One day, she was approached by a mysterious stranger who told her that she was destined for something more.

That destiny seemed to be tied to ACME and VILE - and the elusive Carmen. Her love of languages has helped her during her time at the Agency, even though she is only fluent in four, her free time is spent picking up important words in a variety of dialects. Scarlet does not let on much about her past, but is happy to talk about the future. While that makes her seem mysterious, it is just because she does not know much about her past. As a result, she does not dwell upon what she is unaware of, fearing that it would lead her down dark roads. Instead, she strides confidently into the future even though she has no plans beyond the next six months. Everything will work out in the end for her.

Her dream is to one day meet Carmen - even though some see her as a villain. Scarlet sees her as misunderstood, and lonely. The clues and capers lead people on global chases, but they also cause them to become more erudite. While her methods may be questionable, Scarlet feels a strange connection to the thief that she is unable to explain. Be a riddle wrapped in an enigma.

Though she usually uses her intellect, Scarlet has a bag of tricks that she brings along on every case. Her bag consists of a lock picking set, bug, atlas, pen, and translator app - just in case she finds herself in a country where she actually doesn't speak the language.
