Radio Sonisk Host! - Anja

Hei all!

I shall tell to you about my day with Radio Sonisk! It was absolutt gigantiskmoro!

Radio Sonisk is our sponsor station which played our musik the first our songs were on radio. They also own Klubb Sjokolade where we have concerts once in every month. Klubb Sjokolade is our home klubb.

In this last week was I asked by Oslo's Radio Sonisk to host on program Technokald, which plays the best techno for recent on each Saturday. I was so excited! I have never hosted on radio before!

Lyss:n Up Erik was so fun to host with! He has all best headphones which one would desire, so I found one to wear that fit perFEKT! He told to me that I could keep the headphones, but I left them at the studio for Astrid to use when she comes to host. Lyss:n Up Erik asked for my autograf on the headphones, so he can tell to everyone that it is Techno Tvillingene's special headphones in the studio.

The program was so fun for to host! Lyss:n Up Erik let me play some of my favorite songs on radio, like "Apollo Road" of ATB and Dash Berlin, and "Boten Anna" of Basshunter. He also interviewed with me! Here is my interview on Radio Sonisk's Technokald program! (It is translated to English from Radio Sonisk archive.)

Lyss:n Up Erik: Hallo in Oslo! Welcome to Technokald on Oslo's Radio Sonisk FM, and streaming on internet! It is your usual very live host, Lyss:n Up Erik, with all the best techno from around the entire world! Today on Technokald, we have a very special guest, the only Techno Tvillingen Anja!

Techno Tvillingen Anja: Hey hey in Oslo!

Erik: Hallo, Anja. So glad you could be here. I can not believe you have not already been on this program. Techno Tvillingene is a real hit in Scandinavia. We have received many requests to play your singles "Tvillingsattack" and "Ta ut Søpla". Also you have had a good career already performing in different cities, like Gøteborg, Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen.

Anja: Ah. It is only so fun! It has been so cool! We have even performed in Poland, which was so absolutely super-cool! And hey to Astrid, and Mamma and Pappa who are in Florø!

Erik: Yes yes, Anja. Florø. You started your career there?

Anja: I was born in Florø. It is my hometown. We started music in school and then played to excite the fans at the Florø Girls and Florø Foxes hockey matches. Some people told us to record our music--it was so cool. So we recorded our first single, "Tvillingsattack", and sent it to Radio Sonisk and [another radio station]. Then Radio Sonisk played it once, and they called us and asked if we would let them broadcast and sell the single.

Erik: So they made a contract then?

Anja: Yes, they did that. They also wanted us to make more music and perform at their sponsored club. We told them that we would only agree to the contract if they would change the club name to Klubb Sjokolade.

Erik: As it is now! (laughter)

Anja: Yes! It is a good name, yes?

Erik: It is great! Now, tell me about the lampshade?

Anja: It is so cool, yes?

Erik: Absolutely. Why did you start wearing one?

Anja: Some people in Florø would tell me I was not so bright. So also some said that my hair was so bright of a blond. So I wore a lampshade so everyone thought I was so bright, I required something to keep it from shining in everyone's eyes. Also, it is so fun, because a lampshade is not supposed to be a hat, but it fits a bit like one!

Erik: Ah! So it is more to you than just appearances!

Anja: How is that? It only is for appearances.

Erik: Oh. Okay. Now, one of the favorite events in all your concerts is the socktoss. Can you explain how this was started?

Anja: What do you mean? It is just us giving out free socks.

Erik: But you always have a surprise in them.

Anja: I do not understand why that is a surprise. Socks are easy places to put things.

Erik: Oh. Alright. Then tell me one more thing before we start off these two hours of Technokald on Oslo's Radio Sonisk. How can you perform the watergun segment of your concerts with your equipment all around? It could be damaged by the water.

Anja: Oh! The secret is nail polish! We paint it on our equipment, and it is waterproof. So the electronic things are not ruined.

Erik: And it also makes it colorful.

Anja: Yes! Is it not cool?

Erik: Awesome. So, what techno artist first influenced you to begin your techno career?

Anja: Not many. We decided it ourselves. We wanted a fun music. But we did first hear the techno style from DJ Encore's song "I See Right through to You". Then we just listened to a lot of other artists playing on Radio Sonisk, when Million Kroner Luk was the host.

Erik: (laughter) Hear this? Great artists start with Radio Sonisk! So let us start with "I See Right through to You" by DJ Encore to get the party started today!

Anja: Oh yeah! Slap it on!
