Strange new world - Invader

2013-11-23

Memory:  You have been held captive for ages it seems, but today you are freed. A name long sense unspoken, rising ever so slowly to the surface. In silence you moved ever upward in a whisper till you breached the surface in a deafening roar. A name that shook the very heavens, and bore far away on the wind to the sleeper. Deep in dream you were, when the name borne on the winds of time and space whispered in your sleeping ear. You stirred ever so slightly as that very wind crept away from the chamber in which you lay.

Awakening: You heard the name in your sleep, and awakened wanting to return to the safety of sleep. You awoke the name echoing in your heart and soul a name long sealed away but never forgotten. That very name that invoked a color to match that set your soul on fire and your mind reeling. It was as if all of heaven was still and time itself had held it's breath waiting for you to awaken. That very moment forever frozen in time in your soul, a flame that burned but never consumed. It awoke a part of you that had been long forgotten and it stirred to life once more after a long slumber.

Search: silent and clear eyed you raced to the archives of the ancient tomes.  The place that held both sorrow and joy for you ages ago. Upon arriving you found the place choked in dust of ages past that stung your eyes and forced you to your knees. A place you vowed to yourself that you would never enter again, a vow that broke as easily as a spiders web. Silently you crept through the archives looking for a particular box, afraid that you would awaken something that would never sleep once awakened. Upon finding the box you lifted the lid, and there was instructions pointing to the path not yet traveled.

Arrival: You have arrived at last to the promised land, a land you thought never existed nor possibly could have. A world of wonders and dangers appears before you and you are too frighted to move. For a long time you orbit this world taking in just the atmosphere, then at long last like a star you fall towards it's surface. Upon landing you arrive at a strange building that seems both dead and alive , hesitantly you knock at the door.

Today I have been accepted into a strange new world and I am happy, but frightened at the same time. I have been here many times hovering outside the dimensions door gazing into the world within and happy to be close but not touching. Though I have been consumed with a ravenous hunger to go deeper.  After two years of careful observation I have finally found the courage to knock on the door and found it opened for me. The very moment I arrived here I was breathless with awe at the society  within , I did not know where to start learning about them.

Contact: A few days later one of the longtime  members of this society appeared and made a friendship request with me. I accepted and have been conveying messages periodically and learning of this place.  I have observed that it appears that two sides playing a game with one another and I am not certain when I might join nor what side I shall become a part of. The two sides do seem to have leaders and I am in awe of them, but would be rather nervous to meet them at first. One could say I would be as frightened as meeting a dragon or a creature of that sort. Perhaps one day they may lean of me as I lean of them ,and really get to know them. Nonetheless a part of me will forever feel as an outsider. I am wondering what the next encounter shall bring and how deep will I enter into this world?

NEW: It has been a long time sense I have been connected to a new world and it reminds me of a felling of newness, a feeling I have not experienced in ages. Is it only once we experience newness, perhaps is it many times , or is it only some who experience all things as new. I feel frightened yet I can not go back now I have come to far. I cannot hide my newness it shines within and without me. It is a beacon that I can only see with my minds eye , and it shines like a star.

Ripples: Once on the surface you found a pool and touched it and watched the ripples for some time. Over the hills came the echos of water, no mere pond but an ocean as if answering the pool. Fallowing the sound you found a boat and climbed in and fell asleep as it bore you away. The name ripped in your sleep and you awoke on the ocean alone. Peering over the side you cannot fathom what lies below the surface. Soon you are no longer on the surface but racing ever so slowly to the depths,  Already the ripples have been sent across the water and they never come back......
